Your track has more depth than other trance tracks I heard lately. There is a background melody around 2:30 that I thought was absolutely terrific - it did not stay long - you big tease. May I suggest that you give it more presense or perhaps more than a tease. Anyhow, I really did enjoy your track. I lament that I could not download it.
Wow, this is wonderfully different. It is always a pleasure to come across a high caliber track such as this. I lament that I cannot download. Again...wow !
thanks for such a positive review! :) I really appreciate it. The only reason you can't download it cause well I'm releasing an Album with this track.
I'll let you know when its available!!
cheers and thanks again!
Thanks man, appreciate the kind words. I thought this would be fitting with the whole oil spill and all..I'm not to sure who's speaking. My buddy found that sample. I know he's a native american though. Thanks for listening and reviewing. Peace through music...
Great track. I do not know if it was my anemic sound card but I had a spot of trouble hearing the base. I downloaded your track and if I may I will add one - for personal consumption.
Tabernoosh, good piece you have here - kinda reminds of The Butt Hole Surfers - one of my favorite groups. From hearing some of your other tracks, it appears that you are not afraid of saying and plain' stuff.
G'day JH, interesting track. I downloaded it - may I add a few things ? ( not right away - kinda busy but this is the kind of thing I like to chew on for a way before I dive in ).
The drum is in E in theory, but in reality it's about 60 cents below an E; you might have to either detune what you're working on to just below an E flat or bring the drum part up a bit.
If you want a wav file or the clean version of the recording, just let me know.
I liked your "Eagles" track so much, I thought I should drop by and have a listen to another of your tracks.
This track has a solid flow and a good melodic signature.
G'day Kmy, well well well, impressed I am. I love the melodic brass support. Great vocal metering to the beat. This is a far far better example of HH hear on Looperman than most I have heard.
The last bit - the pella - brilliant !!!!!
I'm getting the feeling that HH is becoming a tired old dowager -it's being done to death, the good ones are hard to find. Yours is one that should and must be found. You have raised the bar and I certainly hope that you aspire to do more with your talent/gift. A refreshing approach you have.
LOL - I love it. Great job. BTW, from where I come from, 7 inches of snow is a light dusting - you just need good snow tires and nerves of steel, but of course you have to take the idiots already out there into consideration. Keep kitty litter in your trunk (or boot), it's got better grip than salt and it doesn't foul the environment.
lol where i come from, 7 inches isnt even enough to close schools or businesses...but thats NOT, however where i live now lol and as you pointed out, its not those who are used to the snow that you have to worry about. my track record is IL, NY, MI...im a snow baby. i live for it. but living this close to the south has been a real adjustment, cause these people run to market when they hear 2 inches is coming...no joke.not snowed in by choice...snowed in because the city shuts down at the first sight of the white stuff lol.
G'day, I haven't been exposed to much hh. I can only comment upon what I like. For example, you have a minimal approach to beat and melodic support - which works very well - meaning, it does not detract from or overpower the vocals/lyrics which is the star of the piece. Come to think of it, the supporting vocal/lyrics were acting something akin to instrumental support -which is downright clever. I do not know it what I just said makes sense, but it does to me. Good job.
G'day,
You have interesting tracks. Inventive is another word I would use. Next door to artsy, not the kind where the neighbor is arguing with his wife, but the kind where you call the lads to have a listen to them, and then make bets as to what they're up to with the loser having to run down the hallway with a hungry weasel down his pants.
I read your description (lol) first and I knew I just had to give it a bit of a listen (actually, all of it).........yes, a bit odd, but interesting, but that is what I like. I'm impressed that you have 16 synth applied - impressive.
You sir have STELLAR taste. ;)
...and actually, I am almost postive it is over 20. I will have to count exactly.
Thank you for listening. I will return the favor.
G'day Toxic, once in a while I'll listen to hip hop. Looks like I chose well this time. You have an outstanding track here. I would have downloaded it if it was available, so intead, I shall fav it.
G'day to you, I honestly wasn't sure what genre to put that one in so I'm glad that even though it said hip hop you decided to check it out, that is actually the first track I've made that sounded like that, once I upload more, you'll see what I mean. I will have to remember to set songs as downloadable in the future, somehow I missed it on this one. Thanks for listening and glad you enjoyed the track.
I just had to listen to your other track since the other one was outstanding - I very much like how you spring musical surprises what with the change to rockabilly...etc. You're one to watch.
