on To Live A Dream by scorpiodc
I'd say the extra time spent on that lead was well worth it. Turned out fantastic. Great stuff, man. It's always a treat t find someone on this site who's not all just about electronic music. Real guitars! Thanks.

on A Tribute to Gigzy R.I.P. by DuBzReCoRdInGsTuDiO
That was the happiest and most upbeat song dedicated to someone passing that I have ever heard.

on F--k Me Satan by AxisSallyboyX
I think there is alot of potential here but it has yet to be tapped. Great start though.

on Worth a Shot by Mandalore
The very beginning reminded me of early Ween stuff (like from the pod and pure guava days) and then the more electronic and distorted bits started and I fell in love with the deliberate pace and random yet ordered structure.

on #9 by aDeviantSexualInterest
I personally loved this one. It was like listening to an alternate reality Ween in which they were heavily influenced by Skinny Puppy.I dig lofi vocals.

Thanks a lot to you and everyone else for the support: I just came back to looperman because I hadn't had time to make and songs recently[and as you can tell, I'm far from being and expert at it], but now I feel better about my chances of actually creating something truly GOOD. [and work on my singing >:-P]
What cracks me up, though, is everyone keeps comparing this to Skinny Puppy and I've never heard a single song by them. Guess I'd better check 'em out now, and thanks again!

on me, my ukulele, and knarles barkly by dliwehtfollac
Wow. You know, that was a much more intimate cover than I was expecting. The stripped down pop hit with up-pitched vocals... I loved it. Has a very different vibe than the original.

up pitched vocals? thats my real voice...lol just kidding.....up pitching the vocals is the only way my voice becomes bearable to listen to.....this song was played for an ex shortly after a break up...u can hear the sadness in it....thanks for listening

Very dark and a bit eerie. It's rather like an amalgamation of Stevie Nicks and early Leonard Cohen. Nice.

on Horny cello by khrimson
Sorry I don't have alot of time to review this one, but I had to say I loved the simplicity of the strings with that glitch beat over it. Great juxtaposition. Favorited.

on Light space flight by Omega85
Thank you for booking me a flight on that one. At different times it reminded me of many different things. It was like an alt-country Cloud Cult meets Jethro Tull with just a dab of 80s hair metal ballads. Nicely done.

on Crystal by Gonzoboy
Yeah, I think that beat needs to come forward in the mix a bit. Garageband right? I love hearing familiar loops in new ways. Keep it up, friend. I'll be back later with some more helpful criticism (hopefully).

Thanks a ton for the thought. I think you're absolutely right about that beat. Listening to your "Holistic Hipster holocaust" as I write. I like it. Sounds like later Leonard Coen with more of a Goth-vibe. Cool.

on Blood and Bone Adrift by TallCity
Jangly and beautiful. This track is exactly what I wanted to hear at this particular moment. Lyrically stunning. This is some great song writing here and I absolutely love the way it ends. Kudos, friend.

on I wanna kill you by kriebel17
The autotune effect usually makes me want to stab out the eyes of children, but I really enjoyed it on this track. The guitar is smooth and minimalist and the vox are powerful. The only issue I had was that it ended really abruptly which was a bit jarring to me. But maybe that's the feeling you were trying elicit.
