I think if some of the bigger contributors on this site get a listen to ur track u will get a good response. I certainly enjoyed listening to it. Really like the smooth intro and when the beat comes in. Has a bit of an oriental feel. I think it's the guitar lick? Good job.
Many thanks! I appreciate the review & im glad you enjoyed it. Always a pleasure to know my music has the potential to stand on a pedestal right beside those who are genius at what they do. Though i do this, not because i'm seeking recognition, fortunate or fame, but simply my love for music in general & the craft behind it.
It's a skill i have remastered time & time again. I was influenced quite young & i evolve as i continue forth to this day. My means to share freely with any open ear that's willing to listen is my purpose & coincidentally, pple are often discovered in the process.
I believe the strings i played for this piece brought this song more to life, so i would have to agree with you on that as well. Amongst the various ambient overlays that are incorporated in all of my projects. Feel free to browse through the rest of my uploaded tracklist if you havent already.
Hey, not something I would normally listen to but kind of liked this one. Certainly well put together and loving that sub bass ( i thought it was a car speeding past my house first time I heard it Lol). Good job.
Thanks for review buddy!
lol..Yeah that (car speeding) effect is reverse sub bass!I know this is not your kind of music, so thanks once again for listening and review!
Hey Z u know I'm a fan. Like the little hidden ryhthyms in the background. You make real deep house. Still like to hear you make something a little edgier but no complaints!!!
Really great Stephen!!! Reminds me a bit of Massive Attack. Levels sound really good. Did you realise that you are Fife's pioneering Soul Dubber? Good stuff!
Fifes pioneering soul Dubber....i like that lol, cheer buddy..as you know i am always working to better myself especially on the mastering side of things...the thumbs up from you is always a great boost..cheers neebs.
I like that piano lick. Personally, I don't see the point in the seagull. The wave noise actually works as part of the beat but should probably be turned down a little and maybe fx'd so that it's less a wave and more a noise that fits the rest of the track. Overall I would say the track has good potential. I would like to remix if for you if you're interested. You can check out my stuff on the Loop or my ambient mixes on Soundcloud to give you my flavour.
Really enjoyed the trippy spaceyness! Nice panning and fx. Good job. A shame I could'nt download as I wanted to work it into an ambient mix I'm doin. Good work A!
Thx! This is one of my favorite pieces and very personal to me, so I've been pretty protective of it. Might be willing to trade you something for it though if you email me...
I agree with Minor in that I would'nt really call this hiphop. Anyway I kinda liked it. Quite dark and ominous sounding glitch hop? Reminded me a bit of Boards Of Canada. Good job controlling the low end.
Sorry it took so long to get back at you thanks for the review got a album coming out soon it is a new kind of genere can't really explain lol but just listened to your track 720 nice ambient number, so nice through headphones.
Again you have captured the deep house sound really well. I would have liked a bit more variation through the track and to be honest I did'nt like that flute. Sorry. You do know deep house though and I would like to hear you take it a bit more edgy or experimental. I think the result would be great!
I think you have mad a good effort. U have a good understanding of how to put this type of track together. I think the levels could do with a bit of a tweak and maybe a slight de-clutter in places. Overall I like it tho. The main piano loop is really nice and sets the mood for the whole track.
I agree with the previous 2 reviews. This is better than the amount of reviews would indicate. I thought the guitar part was going to be way off but it kinda sits quite well in the track. Liked the big change somewhere just before 3mins. All in all, not a bad effort.
Dude, it's pretty hard to review something 1.12 mins long that stops abruptly. What i heard sounded ok but we need to hear the full track to check out the progression (if there is any?).
I love deep house and I think you did a great job here captureing the deep house viBE. The only thing I did'nt really like was the vox sample used but that is personal preference. Good job!
Everything sounds well put together and clean. I think the track is a bit one dimensional though. It needs more to seperate it from lots of similar sounding house tracks.
