I was playing around with some vsti's, so it was more experimenting than writing, but it turned out pretty well ... ;-)
thx again for taking the time ...

If you heard the original recording from back in 85 (OMG - 20 Years Ago!) when I used a Roland JX-3P for all the keys you'd really think it had had an 80's sound! :)
I'd post it if the recording...er, rather the programming wasn't so bad...lol

Some interesting sounds here. The imagery this conjures in my mind is a kind of brief synopsis of the history of machinery - from 18th century steam power to genetically manipulated and "purpose grown" bio-mechanics. In fact Bio-mechanoid would have made a good alternative title.
Consistently you are a great listener! I'm astounded that you hear the conceptual things I'm both drawing from and making a nod at. This really is a piece about interpreting Nature's Machinery with the limitations of human experience. We create things in Our Own Image. Thanks for such a profound and insightful review! You've got to be a good reader, too - you keep it grounded in the text!
Reminds me a little of Keith Jarrett (just have to pinch myself -this is Looperman I'm listening to isn't it?) Great use of dynamics and kettle drums to boot! - great track!
An enjoyable listen - nice use of instrumentation (I'm especially a sucker for sitar). Good work and welcome to the site - I look forward to hearing more from you!
An interesting ode to that special (someone/something) in your life. This almost reminds me of some of Rodger Waters acoustic tracks on the "wall" album. Good clean fun & nice work.
Another nice bit of fuketeering - you've definately got the vibe - This could have been in an episode of Starsky & Hutch - the bit where they go into a sleasy GOGO bar! - good stuff.
Interesting mixture of sounds in this - African percussion with that lovely Rhodes sound and the wah guitar makes for an unusual combination - good piece of experimentation. Took me back to the 70's (my spiritual home). Nice work.
Thanks for your review man. I don't have lyrics for this one yet. Not sure where to even start. Maybe it's not possible. Parsons doesn't always use vocals. What do you think, any ideas?
Take care Gord
