wow. indescribable. its definitely difficult for me to find fault in this one. if there was a looperman track of the year category. this would be one of them.
so its not buju banton. eh? i apologise for being a pric. but i feel like a n ger for feeling like i cannot express myself for making music cause of gettin persecuted due to looperman rules.and im white
i honest ly love this stuff, now i have to admit i got hooked when i heard skrillex at ultra (he needs abigger stage next year,)but i have to say its about the bass. cliches are good. eh?
question ...the wub bass sound .. did you get it right, or do you feel you got a lot to learn yet? i have a hard time doing these sounds cause i feel they are so essential to the style represented.i loved the rasta n word sample.
dam thats badass. now i dont hear any killer subbass. but that dont mean youre not saving that for a rainy day. my studio phones usuallly pick that up, but i guess i dont hear it all for now but i do love it,,,,,
Word!!! Thanks man. Yeah working on my sub's my system is set-up in the mid range so it's hard to get them real deep subs kick'n. I got some sub in spots but I guess it wasn't deep enough. I'll have to see if I can get'em lower and louder and repost this one. If you got any ideas for good subs let me know??? I used the talelek7r0II vsti for the bass subs. But besides all that...lol... I really appreciate the review man... Be sure to check my collab partner Becca... She's got some inspirational tunes... Respect bro!!!
feels like there should be some more stuff in it, or at least get down to about a minute or so before mhyst's vox come in. i was waitin for it but i took too long for me. other than that, the guitar loop is great.
Thanks for listening Mike.. That you lasted long enough for the vocal to come in is a reassuring sign. I can be a bit of a tease like that making people wait. There are pretty much two schools of thought for this track from the feedback I've had. Some enjoy being teased others like yourself feel I keep them waiting too long. It's a marmite thing. Will be popping to your page in the near future to have a listen :)
i just listened to all your stuff. i like this one, and "this is energy"are the best. the rest are good (i definitely wanna try out the riff machine), now,the only thing i do not like is the use of the.. what is that,,,flanger/phaser thingy? now, granted it is usually necessary to export at a low bit rate, but one thing is for sure, fx like that can f things up big time on the bitrate..so ,as little of that as much as possible,.aside from that, all i can say is keep the good stuff up. and review other tracks , and get invoved with the loopercommune
Hello there Mike, Say...thanks for the review and listen to this tune. Mixing 2 songs together isn't easy as you can imagine....that's why I don't do it much.
I appreciate your review and will give a listen to see what you have up.
yeah, thats that anjuna stuff i'm strivin for, too. armada, too if i can get that jorn van deynhooven kick(doesnt everbody)it'll be another set of completeness in this semmingly endless musical puzzle.
thats pretty cool.i never thought of that. only once in a great while i change the pitch if the vox arent sitting well. on my version all i did was alter a couple notes with evo.
