Many thanks for your kind comments my friend! You make some great tracks yourself. Your stuff does sound very polished and I can hear your influences in them.
Ok, so you fellas are smooth with the funk here. The synth/guitar work is over the top good. And yep the cinematic ending put the proverbial cherry on top! Excellent work here.
great that you like it. When Robbie and I met here on LM about two and a half years ago, the idea quickly came up to open an extra profile under which we could exclusively live out our mutual preferences for space themes, echoes, large rooms and StarTrek stuff. The "space" here is of course the one in our heads. It's really great fun and especially fulfilling when we can entertain amazing musicians like you with it. Hopefully we'll keep coming up with something new... but you know... since the universe is endless, it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for listening.

Yep! Right about emotional. Reflective too. This is fire. You deployed that 808 like a lethal weapon! The piano is the main event and the vocals are sitting just right in the mix. You did this right. Great work!
Yes! I'm really digging the balance between the lo-fi vibe with the keys and guitar. That in the cut/pocket beat provided a solid foundation to fully support your track. Fire listen!
Ok Fellas! We’re at the get down right @ about 1:10! What’s so amazing? You two jacked from the mid 80s to the early 90s. Then you fill my ears with that unforgettable sound. You know like the band The System. The synth bass reminded me of them. This is good business.
Oh yeah, The System, I (Micky) was sort of a fan, at least I listened to "Promises Can Break" on repeat for a while back then... who knows, maybe the bass was still stuck in my brain convolutions from back then... Glad you liked it...maybe it doesn't sound like it, but it was quite a lot of work. And harmonic errors are certainly still there, if BaoBou should be right. Thanks for listening and for the kind words.
Danke, so the first thing that caught my ear was that ominous undertone in the mix. Next, the guitar's tonality is off the charts and your bass was in the driver seat all the way. The upper kHz frequencies as well with the mids and lows on the guitars to the cymbals are totally on point. A top shelf production easily faved.
Sorry for the late reply, first ...
than, thank you so much for the cool comment ...
to tell you the truth, our band drummer's got a studio and he made some technical courses of recording and everything else ...
I get a lot of instructions from him and he often helps me make a recording, especially when he is also involved in the song... :-)
fistbump, Danke
Rob, Nice! The formula you used produced an on point groove. I remember this one. I love the lively entrance then you came with that ultra smooth chilled jazz vibe. That bass fits perfectly and your signature synth work never disappoints. A great track faved!
I'm glad you liked this track.
I got a little tired of the "Splash"
Cymbal I told you about by the time I
was ready to post but I still kept it in.
Your listen and Fave is always a sign to me
that I must be moving in the right direction.
