The first few bars had me right in New Orleans with the trumpet. Nice vocal accompaniment and I like the smooth organ holding it all together like glue. Can never go wrong with some congas. Enjoyed Fila

Yea!! It is Funky In Here!! I hear some Shaft in this Tune!! Guitar is SPOT ON! Love the strings!! Suggestion I would leave the guitar in as you did with the chorus and then just fade out. Overall and Great Funky production!! U got a NEW Fan!

This a really a good production and like the way you ended the song! I can feel it all the way through!! Since you got Funk in your name going to check out another tune and I will leave a review. Hope you get a chance to check some of my other tunes I will give you a hint (Funky Mama) 90% of my songs are produced with just loops! Thanks again for your comments here. Strange that I have only have 2 comments but 25 downloads...ha ha ha. Guess people do seem to like it as that is a good sign.

Yeah, that Djembe was a loop and I made it fit to the tempo. As you say, all the instruments I used makes more of a overall non-electric feel and down home sound. Guess all that was needed was a washboard bass and jawharp. Lol

Well hello there Fila,

Been a long time since we have heard from each other. I am still on Lafango, but doesn't seem to be much action there.
Am glad you liked my latest country tune. Took me near 3 months to get all the parts down. The fiddle was a loop and drums as well.

The lead part wasn't done in all one fell swoop. I had to play some and add to the track and then some more. So a bit of cutting and pasting in Pro Tools to make it sound seamless. Lol

Anyway's, I will check out and see what you have up.

Man I don't know how I missed this one!! The ambiance at the beginning really sets up the anticipation and then BAM! That nylon pops in magically outstanding production. Love the little whistler you have and calmness of the trumpet -a lot going on and its right on the plate! I did a song with Short Bus Music a while back called Dawn that had a very calm beginning check out if you get the chance! Beautiful and GREAT PRODUCTION!!

Man I like the snappy feel and the syncopation! I like also when you added the claps and picked up the drive and the breaks were spot on!! Excellent Mix. I also ventured in the the electronic genre for the first time in quite a while take a listen when you get the chance! Enjoyed!
