on smile a little bit prod Elijah Crouch and btw by elijahbcrouch
Very nice. Wish the kick punched through a bit more and the track had a phatter low end, but thats just how i would have personally mixed. Composition and production otherwise is great, cant wait to hear more.

on Kill or B Killed by KnightHeir
Still waiting on that album from you, lmao. You never fail in the lyrical department, or the sound selection in your beats. Not sure if thats an organ or flute but it sounds fucking sick. Only complaint is the mixing on this. Your 808 is not well tamed and bleeding over everything. Other then that, this gets gold metal in my book. Good luck with the contest man.

The album is written and waiting lol. Recently started doing my own recording mixing and mastering, so I'm waiting to work out any kinks in my production process before I record it. This site never fails to get me more on point. Thanks for the critique. You should check out the video on Instagram, peace.

on Mix and Mastering OPINION by cartelscrum
the 3k to 8k region sounds harsh, I believe its the hihat. The beat can be pushed back slightly because it is overpowering and clashing with the vocal. Other then that, I can maybe suggest more stereo width to the vocal in the high range to really make it sparkle through and give more clarity. Great work otherwise. Love the vocal fx and processing you did.

WOW! Blew my fucking mind. So many good parts of this composition I would love to sample, I hope that would be ok with you. If not I will not touch the track. Great mixing and mastering too, you really nailed this one.

FIRE FIRE FIRE FIREEEE! Burnt the whole studio down CHILLAXE! Next time bring up the vocals a bit more, they seem to hide behind the amazing instrumental you have crafted here at certain points. Wish it was longer too!

on Lovers Lane by FreeCrack
A little too much gain on that bass, its clipping the track and not in the good xxxtentacion/ronny j kinda way. Other then that cool concept here.

on I Cannot Forget You by Sunbeats
yeah man, I been training my ears for 4 years now lol. upload the mastered version, I wanna hear it!
Sunbeats
Sunbeats replied 9th Sep 2018 - 7 years ago
The latest updated upload is already Mastered. The waveform may look unMastered and the volume lower than my previous Mastered tracks because I now prefer more dynamic Mastering which has better quality sound.

I'm no more in the loudness war bandwagon and many music streaming sites nowadays place restrictions on the loudness level.

Before, I usually push my tracks up to 6 LUFS which is very loud but affects the sound quality a bit, but now I keep them at 12 LUFS (my personal average best for the strict loudness level music streaming sites) to maintain great sound quality.

on Crooked Smile by DavidArcade
PERSONALLY, not a fan of this chord progression. To me it doesn't resolve itself well. Mixing and mastering is definitely improved from your last works. If you ever want me to mix and master some tracks let me know, I would love to work on my skills.

on I Cannot Forget You by Sunbeats
Personally, I think it needs more transients/treble. Good work otherwise man!
Sunbeats
Sunbeats replied 9th Sep 2018 - 7 years ago
Wow! You are 100% right. I actually forgot to turn one Mastering plugin on. The track has more transients/treble now.
I can't believe I made this stupid mistake.
Thank you so much!

on Focused Prod by Paleczka123 by KnightHeir
Again man, you have a really unique flow. I agree with Audioendo's critique on the De Esser, the S's are over sharp on my monitor headphones. Only other complaint I can give was the "Yo the earth is on an axis it don't spin backwards." Seemed like a kinda cheesy line. Other then that, great track, Plaeczka123 killed this beat, props to him. You killed that flow and all the other lyrics. And your mixing/mastering is pretty on point. IS THAT ALBUM OUT YET?

on Ride a Wild Horse 2 by Nodog
The track is clipping very hard, I suggest turning down your compression and giving yourself more head room.
