oh MAN! saw your comment and was originally blow it off, but I decided I would give you a chance. I can't say no after hearing this, shits fire as fuck. DM me on insta @flyguyfelix I will get you some melodies fashoooooo.
haha I'd imagine you gotta take breaks when your writing or your notebook will light on fire. If you ever want me to do some mixing let me know man I'm down to work on some stuff. I be getting bored!
As per usual, you come in with the bars. Very odd mixing on your low end... why is there so much sub missing? And why did you choose to put it in stereo instead of mono? Your vocal seems to be very mono as well, I suggest adding 2 more layers of it and panning them out in the stereo field at a lower gain to add more clarity and width. Other then that, beat if fye. Delivery is fye, and them BARS are fye. Great work man.
Thanks, ya my pen don't get any rest lol. Just a quick mix on this. Experimenting with different techniques for an upcoming project. Thanks for listening ProdByFetti.
Ugh, those rhodes pianos are like a soft cloud lifting you into the sky. Smooth, great work here. Nothing much else to say about the mixing then what everyone else has said already.
Amazing production, lyrics just aren't hitting for me. Those vocals are mixed hella dope tho, reminds me of Mercy by Kanye. This beat tho... THIS BEAT THO GAH DAAAAMNNNNN ITS FYEEEEEEEEEEEEE
as always you assaulting us with them lyrics bruh, them bars were too flames. throw us some more bass though! lots of mid and high end but theres hardly any sub, idk if this was intentional but I feel like a smooth bassline under the beat would make this a vibey ass song. great work my dude.
Gave me some Luigis Haunted Mansion vibes! Great scary diminished chords in there that add tons of tension. I'm not gonna comment on the mixing on this song because I feel this was more composition based. Also, loved how you ended on the mallets. Great work.
Very harsh in the 3kish region, if you threw an eq on your master chain and took those back you would solve some of that loud harshness in the high register. Also I believe this track is very harshly compressed. You can hear it around the 2:13 to 2:29 mark; the kick, bass, and piano are all fighting so hard to be the lead element in that moment and its causing a lot of cracking and clipping in the song. Other then that, the composition is great. Very catchy piano chords and wonderful guitar riffs/melodys. Sometimes the sudden changes in progressions didn't make sense to me but to each their own, thats up to your creativity. Hope to hear more in the future.
Thanks for your extended view on this track. I was surprised by the comments and then found out I uploaded the unmixed version of this track. It sounded awfull I know :-). I kindly ask you to take another listen and let me know what you think of it now. Dont let the sound graphic fool you. All instruments are mixed and panned out now. Maybe for some the e-guitar is a bit too harsh on the high end side, but that is my personal preference/flavour.
Love around 1:33 when you pulled back those highs. Really gave your composition a moment to breathe and gives potential for the artist to give some memorable lines. Great work, love the glitchy bells.
