Yes, this track is worth listening. It has a very unique atmosphere and interesting vocals, which could be a tiny bit more present. Anyway...i like it very much. The beat and guitar fits to the Don Quijote theme very well, strange and beautiful.
Hey Man! Thanks for your review! You're the first one to review this track! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! :) Yes,I created the whole track around the vocals and theme of Don Quijote. I'm glad to see it came out well! Have a nice day!
I listened to this yesterday a couple of times and heard everytime another aspect. B.t.w.: Many of the young folks in Berlin play nothing else while raving. Please produce more of this!!!
i did not know anything about "leftover beats" and about "dub" nearly nothing. so i am happy to learn something new. i dont think, that is a track only for dj's. i like him very much and will play him as a endless loop for a while.
Thanks again for listening to one of my later tunes.
This was done in Pro Tools which is a comprehensive program that takes several months to learn, plus having the right hardware to start with.
I used a combo of loops and my own playing in this song. Putting loops together and making them fit into the tune seemlessly is the key.
As far as creating a track like this, not sure how far Garageband will take you.
I have never used any other program so I can't compare.
Thanks for listening and am glad you liked the song.
Thanks a lot for reviewing one of my country tunes. My main roots are country, but I also do Blues and Rock some.
This particular tune took me about 2 months to put together. I used loops in parts that I don't play or own an instrument myself.
I usually use live recorded drum sets from www.betamonkeymusic.com as you usually have a choice of 16 or 24 bit wav files for drums. Not synth type drums you usually hear or make with a software program. Or if you have a drum machine, they do very well too. This kind of country don't take much drums so I am referring to my other tunes I did as well. Particulary rock.
I play 6 instruments so that helps too. All the other parts were done with the help of loops.
The Cajun part was made with the hep of a friend of mine in Louisianna.
yeah, that my first favourite! i am glad, that i found it here. it reminds me of the good old days, when musicians like janis joplin put all their soul into one song. it sounds great and could not be done better.
