Very nice cover! Clean sound, good strong vocals. Music sounds pretty on point, tells a story even without vocals. I think you'd nail some David Bowie, Pink Floyd maybe even some Crowded House covers.
Thanks so much. I think I'm done with covers for a while but I know I'll come back to it eventually. Honestly, I don't think I've ever listened to Crowded House. I'll have to check them out.
Very professional sounding! Each instrument sounds very natural, it all blends together. This definitely invokes a certain feeling, very moving, it starts with a somber tone and builds up to a much more triumphant feel. Its definitely only an intro though, this could easily be much longer. Very nice piece!
Getting trance/techno vibes from this. Very nice mix of synths, good blend, the drums could be a little more punchy and present, synth kinda overpowers them. Honestly a simple sidechain would give the track more of bounce and rhythm. Good structure, just need some fine tuning.
Nicely mixed, good catchy beat, solid flow with good lyrical content. Very angelic sounding. Bass is clean and deep. The switch up keeps it interesting. Solid track!
Really like these smooth warpy sounding basses. It's a unique aesthetic, like ethereal and dreamy. The percussion cuts through the mix just enough to keep the deep basses from becoming too much. Nice work!
I love the intro, sounds very Noir, then the beat comes in and livens up the track dramatically. Really has a classic hip hop feel to it, except higher quality sound. This beat just makes me envision someone on a train looking out the window as rain hits the glass. Background sounds add real nice ambiance, the drums slice through everything and that bass is pumping my speakers. Good stuff mate!
I love the hard hitting drums and the warped melody. Very clean mix! I wish I was any good at rapping, would be a good beat to have some dark Ghostemane kind of lyrics.
Glad you liked the beat , i was concerned about the cleanliness of the mix on higher volume , thought the kicks were a bit too much , thank you for the reassurance :D
Oh this is cool, I can hear this being in a movie! I like the processing on the vocals, they somehow sound dry but wide, makes them really present in the mix. Nice song structure, really paints a picture! That super wide reese bass sound really works to create a nice atmosphere and glue everything together!
oh fck yes Sam is a gnarly af when it comes to send his bass into space. when i put this bad boy in my daw, my spectrogramm showed me that he spread that bass all over the world. ps i love your beats as well, i tried something on last beats from you, but got that problem that i had to fight against the instruments not enough space for vocal but i can say this just from my perspective im not an expert. but i thank you that you listend to my track.
Wow it feels like I'm discovering pink floyd again for the first time. I can't really explain it, something about this is nostalgic, yet I've never heard this before. This is like a live performance where the singer actually sounds like the studio recording.
Oh my that's some smooth bass work! Love the groove that sax has! Very clear overall mix, nothing overpowering and everything has it's place! Well produced!
Well my right ear is enjoying the vocals, This would be on another level if the mixing was right. I can appreciate the live sound though! Real soulful voice, I can feel the emotion.
Hello, Equinox! Thanks for stopping by and listening to the track. I'm happy you enjoyed it out of your right ear...LOL. On my end, the vocals are panned to both sides. I even tried two other headsets with the same results. I'm not sure why it isn't so for you.
Has a very unique grungy style without being grungy if that makes sense. I can tell it's very experimental, that's a good thing. If you never step outside of your comfort zone you will never progress. Keep experimenting!
I like the emotion in this track, there are some nice elements! For some technical tips, if you eq the sub out of the buildup it makes the drop hit so much harder. Also the kick at 1:45 is far too loud for that part. You need a break from sub frequencies or listeners will get ear fatigue. Maybe turn it down a bit and/or cut some sub. No hate, just sharing advice.
Damn that 808 hit me like woah. I think my neighbors like it as well cause it looks like they're yelling and waving their hands at me through the window!
I like the choir that comes in, that fx sounds kinda space-like. The piano has an almost happy vibe but the background ambiance sounds like something bad is gonna happen. This track gives me a false sense of security lol.
