Im back after a lot of stress moving but now chilling with the vibe here at lopperman. I really got into this one of yours which has an offbeat theatrical edge to it and you are right everyone is suffering mainly due to crazy politicians. Yes, I like the half tempo sections as well. That's much more my usual kind of tempo rather than the fast stuff. The half tempo sections are certainly not d'n'b but I don't care as they seem to fit the track and are quite similar to the other sections, just without those rapid breakbeat drums.

Which goes to show that d'n'b is mostly about the type of drums used.

Excellent. I try to make things smooth but also keep some grit and attitude so that things aren't too bland and still a bit edgy and exciting.

at the moment in in umm al quwain its fecking hot place in the gulf so i enjoyed the sound of the rain which i used to hear all the time in scotland. great vibe perfect for your cartoon i would think just fits the bill well done best regards Robbie.

Thanks Robbie! I know that feeling. I love hearing the rain, it makes the mood so much enjoyable, which is why I chose to incorporate it into the track, worked out pretty well.

Modnex, Really cool track you have going on there kinda celtic vibe being Scottish i can relate to. Speaks to me of mountains and green and rain the harp gives it that slant in my mind. Nicely produced and arranged ..well done my time traveller in music, best regards Robbie.

Hey Pat , one of the guys here mentioned this reminds him of System of a Down. Never having heard them work i went over to YT and had a listen to "Chop Suey" and i was blown away by that track it has about 46 million hits incredible. In your track i like the angst i like the pain and i like to hear anger i always think nothing good comes to anyone except through PAIN which in turn leads to GROWTH. I" m using nch mix pad right now. free software. hard to mix and match beats and pitches. I would like to get Magix music maker. used the demo for 30 days and loved it. let me know if you have any suggestions.

Hi nice track has a funky groove the intro drum beat is very nice. I have been working on my Roland Gaia recently and find hard synths make me think about and use the filters, LFO etc i would love to have some old Hard synths like your Korg sounds like a lot of fun, looking forward to more. Thanks for your comment. Well I had to lookup on the Roland Gaia on the internet. It looks pretty cool and easy to maneuver with this buttons and knobs. When reading the specifications it seem to be a really nice one and I really think that you should be able to create quite the same sound as the Korg Mono/poly synth. Just down size the voices and polyphony :)

didn't find the bass line was a little bit higher than the beat? i spent time on the low frequencies of the drum and the bass guitare but i'm not sure it's a success... bass line seems to crush the drum. May be because i chose a sub bass plugin? don't know...
