Very intense vibes from this song! It's not a style of trance I hear very often, so it's refreshing! I like the atmospheres and effects in the part where it thins out a bit. Way to bring back the power after that too! Really good song that lives up to it's title! Faved for sure!
Wonderful song! I hear the influences that you speak of in this, but at one time something like this might have been called New Age. I grew up listening to some of that, so I can get into this! You've merged the different elements flawlessly! Very dynamic mix too! Well done!
Hey, amazing track! I really appreciate you posting the lyrics so I could follow along! Your delivery is killer! Very effective beat too! You nailed it! Faved for sure!
First let me say, I'm not a big follower of RnB music. This is a fabulous soulful track! This would be just great in a film of some sort! I really like your vocal style, it sounds like we have a new starlet in our midst! Can't wait to hear more!
Hey, this is wicked! Love the style of sound design very much! Thanks for your kind shout out in your reply to an earlier review! Love where this goes after the drop, it's so intense! Sylenth really is an excellent synth, and you obviously know how to use it! Very sweet dubstep here! Faved for sure!
Thank spivkurl for the kind reply ;) Tried making a intense drop so that seems to have succeeded. Interrested in the forum thing I made ? also the shout out you deserve ;p
Whoa this bass is heavy, I love it! The sound effects are really stand out! You've included a little bit of dub vybez in this one, and that makes me happy! Wonderful groove my friend! I dig! Faved for sure!
This is a very pleasant listen my friend! Listening to what you're capable of, I feel honored that you would listen to my new stuff. I used to listen to much jazz, so this is nice to hear for me. This is a very intelligent composition, and I'm glad I listened!
Much appreciated! Jazz is becoming ignored for those of my generation. I'm just glad I'm one of the few who still appreciates and works with Jazz. Thanks for the comment!
Holy hell this is sweet! The combination of those chords and the flute or something like a flute is just fabulous! Great momentum to this track! This needs to be on record! Faved for sure!
This is a mighty fine track, and you've used the vocals really well! I find myself very impressed with the stereo field of your mix, it sounds great! Nice and minimal, but potent! Good work!
This is very pleasing to listen to! It's really nice to hear some out of the ordinary time signature! This feels like what I use to listen to like 15 years ago or something, but you've made it timeless, instead of something you find on 12" at garage sales and thrift shops. Really good journey! Faved!
Phat tune! I'm getting to really like trap, and you've done the genre justice here! The mixing style and sounds are very trippy! Seems like it would be really good in like an epic collage part of a movie! Nice one! Faved for sure!
Much appreciated! Yea I'm originally a boom bap head, but Trap has grown on me more and more. Especially with the newer sub genres and EDM that implement a lot of trap elements. Thanks again for the feedback!
This is pretty killer! I like that it's fairly minimal! Has some elements that remind me of your earlier work in other genres. I especially like the last part when the rhythm drives harder! Nice one! Faved for sure!
Ultra creative stuff here! Where did you get these sounds? Never heard anything quite like it. Very fun little story with an awesome rhythm! Faved for sure!
This is a very psychedelic take on these vocals! She has a really good voice! Interesting jazzy sort of style! I like the drums very much! Great work! Faved for sure!
Yeah I was raised mostly between here in Minnesota, and in Homer, Alaska. I remember big spontaneous acoustic jams. I was a little too young to appreciate it fully though. I enjoyed your song very much!
Definitely a vintage sounding funk track! Great style of mixing! I find that this song tells a story in a way, but I haven't heard the original. Good work!
Thanks for checking us out and hitting us up with your kind words. I still have a passion for the early funk stuff. You can easily find this track by T of P on youtube...Check it out.
Really epic composition in this one, I dig it! Your synth work is great, and the parts compliment eachother nicely! Makes me wish I was a rapper! Very groovy! Faved for sure!
I turned it up, per your recommendation, and I'm glad I did! This is heavy and deep, but still minimal, so good balance! I like the FX and panning on the drums very much! Effective song my friend! Faved for sure!
thanks dude! i took the exported sample track and duplicated it inside ableton and used the eq three to remove the mids and lows from one track and the mids and highs from the other. found out this is a good way to remove drums from samples. i just kept adding to the sound of the bass, made it deeper and deeper until my apartment vibrated lol. the way jimi plays the bass on and 'have you ever been' in general are incredible and that cut is my favorite part. thanks again for the listen and the comments spiv.
This is pretty jammin my friend! It does remind of if the Doors had a second guitarist or something. The drums have a pretty vintage sound to them which is nice! Before you add to the kit, remember that old blues and blues rock groups often had pretty minimal drum kits. That said, adding some more drums could give a more updated sound. I really enjoyed listening! Faved for sure!
Hey bro...thanks for the idea. I had not thought of this in a Doors kind of way but now that you say it I can kinda hear a Morrison type thing going on over this. I will have to take some time, when I get some, lol, and see what I can come up with. I am a big Doors fan. I agree with you on not getting to fancy with the Drums. It's one of the things I love about the Black Keys. They keep their sound very minimal. Especially the drums.
Thanks for giving this a listen, it's appreciated.
I'm not the biggest fan of RnB, but this is really well performed! I'm also not too into choirs, but the one you used really suits the song! Should be on the radio! Good stuff!
This is really original and groovy! Nice style of breakbeat! I like the part around 1:35 good way to break things up! Very interesting stuff! Faved for sure!
