Spivkurl

This seems to be a unique combination of styles, some parts being techno, and others sounding more trance. I really like the bass lines though, they are very fun in almost a video game sort of way. The chord progressions sound really nice, and they give the whole song a good vibe. Very nice work!

Hello Spivkurl,

I want to thank you for reviewing my latest tune and your comments. Your message happen to come in while I was online. I guess when I was putting it together, I was trying for a Trance tune, but the drums I chose was called 'Techo hit'. So I suppose that is where some confusion comes in. Anyways, I think myself it came across pretty well and was my 1st of this type.

I appreciate your comments and will get to review some more of yours and others tunes as I have time.
Next week, I will be working for 45 days of 12 hours each, without a day off.

Cool track, don't know why no one has reviewed yet! I like the bass line on this track quite a bit. This song seems to need some high hats or something. Your high end is missing some life. Keep working at it, this has much potential!

Definitely sounds a little more dancey than the usual hip hop. I like the strong kick drum. Cool, kind of eerie orchestration on this one. I like the sounds you've used. Nice work!

This is quite groovy for your first try at a genre. I'm diggin the groove on these beats. Definitely good use of the vocals. It sounds cool even when the mix chills out. Very cool vocoder sound! Nice work!

thanks man, vocoder sound was made using fl studio buzz generator - old and forgotten plugin, but it can sound really nice if you work with it for a little bit longer. peace

I like the synths on this one, gives it a bit of a video game vibe to it, which is always fun to hear. Nice old school breaks and transitions on this one. The vocal samples are really well used. G g g g get down! Really nice work with this track, it's super fun!

This song sounds pretty cool so far! One thing I noticed is that it seems really quiet compared to other things I've been listening to this morning. Maybe you should remix and remaster to give the finished product more power. Cool melodies and progressions though. Keep it up!

I really enjoy the flow of this track, the aspects of the mix really compliment eachother. I can definitely hear Califken's effect on this mix, which is cool. This isn't a style I usually hear, and it's nice to be refreshed. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the listen Spivkurl. :) You are probably the only reviewer more active than me and I always appreciate your words. I personally love this piece. It seems similiar to the new stuff by Deadmau5 and Leger (my heroes). But... I understand it's not for everyone's taste. I hope a few others "discover" it. Thanks again.

It's fun to hear this style, it's almost like an audio collage. Very cool old samples you've found. This sounds really cool when the beat comes in. Really unusual style my friend! Keep it up!

Thanx for the review! Yeah my style is a little out there, not really in one genre or another because I like to use samples from genres that just weren't meant to mix. I'm still trying to refine more but so far the reviews have been pretty positive so I'm glad people like where I'm going with my tunes.

This is a pretty cool track. I have to admit though that I was glad to hear some variety on the beats later in the track, because it does get a bit repetetive. I'd like to hear what this track sounds like faster. Nice work!

Very cool mixing on this track, you've really carried a vibe through to the finish with this one. I like the big reverbed out sound you achieved with some aspects of this song. Very cool melodies too, they work well with the track. You might find this works better with a louder master, but that's just my preference. Really cool work on this track!

This track is definitely an intense rush! I love the beats and the sweet bass line. Your take on the hoover is also really cool, I haven't heard a synth quite like that. Sometimes having to experiment to get a certain sound really pays off. Very cool fills and transitions. I love the acidic build ups that you've created, makes this a very ecstatic track! You've made a really cool hard dance track with this one! Nice work!

Definitely sounds like you have a good start on this track. I agree with DV though, you need some beats going on. Unless maybe this is meant to be an intro to a set, I could see that being cool. Cool use of effects on this one though. Nice work!

I can definitely hear the walking at night in this song! I really like the filter effects on the drums, it makes them sound kind of metalic. In fact, the drums in general sound very cool. Nice use of loops on this track. Seems like you should take this song a little further. Nice work!

Very cool track! This definitely has some hip hop flavour to it, which ends up sounding really good. I like how your bass follows the progression, this is missing in some dubstep. Nice work!

This track sounds pretty cool, but I really think the mix needs some work. That piano is really way too loud. If you brought it down, then the rest of the mix could be louder, which should be a good thing. Nice work so far though!
