Cool stuff! I really like the anticipation you build up with the intro. I like that reverbed out plucky sound, it gives a good atmosphere for the beats. The synth riff is really catchy, and those vocal samples sound very cool. I didn't expect it to be so short, oh well, I'll just listen to another of your tracks.

This is a very exciting track! You can always be relied upon to please my ears, especially with the variety of instrumentation which you use. There is always something fresh in your work, something unexpected. I love all these layers, they just seem to fall right into place together. Such depth to this song, you've really outdone yourself. Very cool work!

Spivkurl - I started this piece to exercise my attraction to making Noize. For some reason, everytime I sat down to make something lovely, these industrial sounds would begin to emerge. I thought making something loud and abrasive might get it out of my system, but instead it got directed into something else entirely. The drum samples from Maldives (3 loops) really were the launching point, but it was in listening to some of the other sonic choices that the Principal arose and I could hear the voice of Bonobo (the Chimp is a metaphorical me) challenging the noise. Once I identified what was trying to happen, it actually became a lot of fun and a personal challenge to bring it together. So many sounds in this one speak directly to other ones, and I think the sound of thunder and rain really drives the point home. Layers and layers of reflected meaning. Thanks for the review and encouragement here!

This is a fun track! I like the lyrics/vocals, very cool! I haven't heard the original either, but this mix sounds really cool. Creative drum/bass beat, definitely danceable! Nice work!

Beautiful it is! I really like those wood drums you've used, they sound really cool. Very nicely done strings, they add a lot to the track. This song has a bit of a dark feel to it doesn't it? I like the change that happens right around 4:00, it's mixed really well. This is pretty long, but it seems worth listening to all the way through. Great work!

This does have a youthful feel to it, very cheerful and bright! Nice drum beats and fills, very well done. That bass is so low it's hardly audible. Cool mix otherwise though!

I'm really digging the bass line on this one, and the overall dance vibe! Only one problem, I can't hear the vocals! Very cool drum sounds, they make me wanna move. Nice work so far!

I really like this track, just the way it is! The distortion is very tasty! The other synth sounds, while unusual, are quite pleasing to the ears! For some reason this track puts me in mind of things literally falling apart, it must be the frenetic rhythm or something. Very cool imagery! Faved and DL'd!

Thanks for taking the time to give me some feedback. I really appreciate the positive words. As for the imagery it is generating for you, I would say you are pretty much bang on the mark. The actual image used by myself for this is a young African soldier-boy (you can see it on the video via ecstasio.com). The whole idea was meant to sound traumatic and close to socio-cultural "meltdown". Again thanks ;)

"Smile" is right! This one had me smiling right away. I really like the bass line you've created on this one, it just doesn't get old! Very nice unusual percussion sounds too. Cool track!

oooo I like this one! Nice and dark right from the beginning! It leaves me wondering what "two words" you're referring to? I like that minimal clicky beat that comes in like half way through, very cool in it's simplicity. 165% on your CPU, damn, that's not good! It would be cool to hear some whispered vocals with this track, just an idea though. Very well done, as usual from one of your tracks!

This sounds really cool! Very nice use of loops, especially those sweet guitar riffs! I like the string sounding leads, they build up energy very nicely. Very nice variety in this track. Very good automation and fading of the layers, well done! An all around great track!

Whoa, that surprised me when the beat kicked in! I really like the relaxed vibe on this track, it's very inspiring. But then it gets less relaxed, hmm... Nice synth melodies, they're rather ecstatic! So many different styles represented here, I like it. Nice work on this one!

Ooooh, I'm lovin the beats on this one! Very nice use of the pella too, it works so well in this context. Very sweet bass line too. I like the filtered sound of parts of the drum beats, it's out of the ordinary and creative. The track really fits your description well. Nice work!

Closed my eyes, and you were right, this track really takes me away! I really like that vocal sample, it adds so much to the song. Very nicely made beats on this one too. It's nice to hear you trying something so different from what you usually do. A very creative haunting track!
