ROCK is not something im majorly into although i do like the odd selection of bands. What surprised me was that you can actually sing. I've not heard a good singer on looperman yet lol. You remind me a whole lot of meat puppets, you should have a listen to them. They have a lovely, lazy style which you should try and pick up on i think, it would suit you.
But I am impressed. rei4real is right the guitar goes out of time at around 50 seconds. Just go through and listen to those two only and make sure it lines up. I've wanted to do something like this for a while as my friend is an amazing electric guitar player, but Im just not into rock really. Maybe one day!
The background tune is quite nice and yes, it is dubstep i guess, I would do something with those vocals tho, i agreewith Lucky Flaush you cant just whack vocals on the top of a track and expect them to be okay, you need to either double it up on some of the words (just like they do in real rap songs) and yeah shove some reverb on there and turn it down a tiny bit. I would change the pitch too..lower it a bit, it just sounds a bit .....white.
Traditionally Dubstep is usually accompanied by a Ragga Mc or a rasta of some type. Im not too sure if white boy mixes in well with dubstep, but its a good try anyway :)
i normally like to just let the lyrics speak for themselves, not too much for the frills on that, just some occassional overdubbing, but i might have to fuck with this alittle and see what sounds I can get. thanks for the honest feedback, much appreciated
I do like it, Personally i would redo or get rid of the twinkly sounds, i just dont think they fit. and the snare should be more of a clap i reckon. But the bassline is very nice :)
the bass on this is my favorite bit. To be honest i would get rid of the vocals. Or at least chop them up so you cant really hear what he's talking about, i dunno for me they just ruin the song some what. But the bassline is very nice.
The drum beat and the bass come together really well in this one.. I like the kinda garagey feel its got too, And can i ask where you got the sample from?
good song, I turned this one up as soon as the bass kicked in :) I think you need to put the reverb onto the first lot of samples, if your going to use them all throughout the rest of the song i just feel it needs to be balanced. But its a good bassline man, very good.
this is the first dubstep song i've heard on here that i've really liked. And i only got to hear 5 seconds of it lol because im at work. Very nice though, what did you use?
