on HeadJuice by LongJohnsLiver
cool panning, dope samples/loops. Is that sound in the background from A Tribe Called Quest's "Bonita Applebum" (or at least from wherever they sampled it originally)???

love the drums and bass, real cool, nice transitions and sequences too. Keep going man, you got some talent at making beats obviously.

Thanks man, i looked up Bonita Applebum on youtube, are you talking about the sound at the beginning? I thought it sort of sounded like the bass from this, but i only took two loops and that was the keyboard type sounds, everything else is me.

on You Don't Wanna F.U.N.K. With Me by Ciko
Gotta have that funk.

Nice work my man, I like how you switched it up on this one as most of your productions are real dark or ominous. Nice guitar sound, awesome actually, and i liked the chords u used.

Good shizz.

on The Death of Captain America by ReignStorms
Love the intro, it gives off the feeling of disaster striking and the uncertainty that follows. And after that it seems kind of like the triumph of the Red Skull or the loss of innocence etc. Very cool. I can picture Rogers dying on the court steps with the rain and this music playing, i think you should change the genre to Cinematic, feels very much so like that.

Thanks Clay! I'm glad you "saw" what I saw when I made this song. Good call on the cinematic. I think I will change it. Thanks for dropping a note fellow comic fan ;)

on Two Worlds by Planetjazzbass
love the strings, love the voice, very reflective piece here. feel like i was sitting around a fire with eshar as she read aloud. this one reminds me of moments i've shared in the midst of myself and the darkened outdoors. the smell, the sounds, the energy. fav'd, and downloaded, amazing, on both accounts.

on The Way of all Flesh by Planetjazzbass
Damn dude, the bass... so unsettling with all the other FX around it. Percussion was perfect and keeps you on your toes throughout the whole song, and of course the hysterical woman in the background and the fly. I definitely second whoever said, "Dead Man", this would fit right in with the movie which is kind of a western/surrealist movie. Also though, "Lost Highway" comes to mind as well, a Lynch film and one of the more surreal movies to date (can be interpreted so many different ways.)

This is gonna be a fav of mine, you are extremely talented. Awesome awesome job. I draw and paint as well and almost all my work is inspired by my fucking crazy ass dreams. My screenplays are all based off dreams as well.
Planetjazzbass

Thanks Clay...I like the "Western"surrealist image ..one of my favourite genres...Waking or dreaming the brains still functioning I wonder if it can tell the difference..and deliberately wipes most of it on waking...cause 'we can't handle the truth'?..cheers mate :)

on Clarity Through Dust by Z3R0
Definitely some staccato work going on with the pianos, which is awesome and refreshing. Great arrangements man, i love this track actually, going to add it as one of my Favs. Its got me inspired to write to it actually. Clarity through dust is a perfect title for it too, thats the same feeling/emotion i get from it as well.

props as always!

on Killing The Genre (Freestyle) by Z3R0
wow man great acoustics on display. you definitely got some talent on guitar. the mix of the drums and the guitar was perfect too, great track... actually, i wouldn't mind giving a go at singing over this track. I definitely have a way I'd go about it in mind. The guitar did all the work for me, the lyrics would be the easy part. I'm not an out of this world singer or anything but I can hold my own most of the time.

great track.

on Stones Tied To My Feet feat. Iris Illida by Z3R0
Very good song. Love the lyrics man, its almost like a couple who are suffocating in their own relationship. Love the delivery of the lyrics the most tho, very subtle. Great choice in picking the beat too, great piano work on this. Also the transitions and dropping out was good when it dropped out to nothing but the drums.

Good stuff.

Wooord D:

This track was in the making for like, 5 weeks because I don't like my voice and never had the guts to do anything with it, but when my friend Iris heard it and volunteered to buff my voice with hers, I couldn't resist.

Her voice could talk you into an orgasm..

on Exploratory Journey by Avail
Love the drums. Had the head nodding along with the song. And whatever that low end sound was, it was hypnotic, really cool sound, dunno if it was a synth or what. Like someone else said, Hip Hop is mostly about rhythm and the beat, but don't let conventional boundaries stop you from doing your own thing. It's a crime to limit stuff. I love experimental trip-hop and etc. This would probably be classified in that area but who needs to classify I say, it's all music!

Good stuff.
Avail
Avail replied Unknown
Hey thanks a lot. I guess you are right it's experimental trip-hop really interesting genre.I might do a few more stuff like this. And that is a synth/pad from a free synthie(claw, my favourite i, think it works with mac too.Try it)

on VigorBlitz by KDLproject
This is awesome. Like someone else said, a good Screamo artists could set this off. But it stands on its own anyway since you had all the breaks and transitions, build ups etc. etc. Which were all great and when the guitar comes in you can definitely picture a movie scene of some dude whopping ass or driving a car through a brick wall or something.

This is music to work out to definitely haha. Good job bro
