Sounds like you put all your heart and soul into this little gem. I could quite easily see this being played in the background as credits scroll down at the end of a film! :)
Nice work mate, really loving the base kick-in at 3 mins, it gives it a real dirty feel! :)
Have you tried asking looperman if is OK to open a second account, at least that way you don't have to delete your older tracks. i like to go back to some off my older tracks time to time, just to see how much my style has changed, not sure what I'll do myself when i hit the limit! QQ
To be honist, when i joined here i was only after loops as i didnt think my music was anywere near good.!
After a short time i put up my first track, and i never dreamed i would get the comments i did!.
Problem with me is all my tracks are a one off,as i cant replicate any track i do,i just go in to a mode,do them, then think how the hell did i do that lol.
My point is over time i find im spending so much time saying thank you, here and at soundcloud, that even one more account would be too much to keep up with.!
I just do this as a sort of therapy,i just enjoy making music to pass my time as im a chronic insomniac.!
Mate i think if i joined reverb or beatport my ass would belong to my pc lol
I swear you have six fingers!
I have to say i am very grateful for sites like this,
there is just just so much hidden talent in this world and you sir would off been one off them.
Hi Dave, and thanx alot for your knidness ,Dave it's wnodefull for me too whenever I listen how you compose on electronic genre such professional & ja I'm grateful of sites like this.& I really appreciate your time man & thanx alot for your comment.Best wishes Dave,Sincerely.___Behnam.
I don't see why not, i actually made a track a while back that i started with a chord progression pretty much the same as yours, i actually find that it can be a very emotional chord progression. I think that's why i called my track "a sad day"
Trance elevation from primeloops or producerloops? No sorry. I'm using sylenth1, z3ta and massive(with my presets). I made the kicks in ableton. Claps from vengeance(i think)
Ahh another convert, i did the same myself with ableton and now just use reason as a slave as it still produces very powerful sounds, just didn't like the workflow!
Anyway this is a very nice progressive track, defiantly one to chill out to!
I find that trance is a journey, while you have found yourself a nice little riff but it kinda get a bit repetitive when you use it throughout the whole track. Try breaking it up a little more with a melody or even just some samples, it will add those extra layers to your track and give it that diversity that trance and most genra off music needs.
Well it's all been said before, but you really do have an amazing voice, you really need to put this up as an acapella, i'm sure it will make many looperman members happy! :)
Not my style off trance, i'm more into my uplifting trance, never less it has some nice catchy melody's with in the track.
Not trying to be rude but some of the don't match the chords, which isn't a biggy as there are vst's out there that auto correct, other than that you have a nice voice!
Yes the vocals could use some corrections. I already did that for the acapella version I've uploaded (that's why it's "revised"), but you can leave the word "auto" out of it, because automatically correcting makes you sound like a robot. I spend days (!!) on it with Melodyne, because it often recognizes two music notes as one (e.g. no-o isn't properly recognized, no no would't be a problem) and also because I've used more than one layer of vocals on this.
I'm still working on the revised version of this track (with the revised vocals), but I've lost all of my cubase plugin settings in an update, so it's taking some time....
There is a lot off crappy trance on looperman (mine included) but this is defiantly one off the better ones, some nice patterns with a catchy melody over the top, whats not to like.
Great track mate, got myself some new speakers this weekend and this track was played at full volume and it sounded sweet (although the track in general is pretty quiet, do you do any pre mastering/mastering?)
Anyway it has a nice pumping feeling that defiantly got me in the groove.
Not sure if my neighbours enjoyed it as much as myself but they will be hearing it again regardless! :)
Sounds like it could be quite a good track, kinda annoyed it faded out just as it got to the breakdown as i wanted to hear more. Will defo have a re listen when it's finished! but defiantly a nice start to a track.
Thanks for the feedback, means alot. im in to alot of the old hardance. im trying out alot of genre's, as im into most forms of music. but still a newbie.
