on Julianlyons- Lil Emo-Period But Like The Dot By GF by gfdeux
I really like the guitar samples, giving me so much inspiration for my own stuff right now! If I could offer any advice, it would be to consider raising the mids of the vocals a little bit, while trying to simultaneously remove a little of that high-end shrill. The track could also benefit from a little more sub bass to increase the overall depth. But aside from those things, I think the composition is super unique and clean.

on The One - feat Tina G by Tom0rlando
I'm in love! This is so well mixed/mastered. And it's wide while maintaining so much power. I'm a huge advocate of feedback, and even though a track might sound perfect the first time through, I always think there's room to improve. Unfortunately, I am not able to come up with ANYTHING that I would change. This is a beautiful track, and embodies the true essence of hip-hop. Brilliant job, the production is off the wall!

on kwiatek78 Crazy mixdown Anubis Remix by Anubis
Those drums are soooo thick. And that 808 in the background is pure ecstasy. Very unique groove, different than most electronic!

Your words are very welcome.
The bass, really seems to beautify the whole context of music.
Is something interesting when listening to a headphone.

thanks

on Electronica by Israel20
Sounds very nice, the kick is a tad weak, however. If there was some low-end layer to it, it may sound a bit more powerful. The synth melodies are very nice, and fit well with the chords. The drums are not too noticeable, but they help to bind the track together, and that is a good thing!

on The Session by cassiusc
I like the pad/keys that play throughout the track. There are some lower-mid frequencies that stand out once the drums come in, though, so if you equalize those down a bit you'll probably be left with a much clearer sound. The use of different instruments is very cool, a textbook example of blending acoustic with electronic!

on Onto The Next One Ft Jacqueline Van Bierk by BeatzFactory
The pulsating bass really helps to add some juice to the track. The vocals seem to be in a different key than the rest of the track is, but they fit in other than that. The drums and effects are pretty cool, interesting track!

on Brining Me Out The Dark by WesDemelo
The Adele sample is a very creative choice, but make sure that it doesn't take away from the music, and the chords that come in immediately after don't really fit with the rest of the song. I'm liking the choice of drums, very powerful but understated. The synth that comes in around the 1:15 mark is very beautiful and used well. Keep up the good work!

on GHOST FT BUKE El SABOTAGE by djZelco
Like the subbass that pulsates in the drop/breakdown. If you had it an octave down for the majority of the time, it may prove to be a little more powerful. And if you equalize in some more high-end into the chords, they may sound a bit more crisp. Nice track, very different!

man you'd laugh at me .... I blasted my speakers when I was producing the track , I was forced to work using head phones only.... but yea I hear you, will wash and polish it again ,,, thanx

on rock with me V 3 by wordybum
The subbass layers seem a bit conflicting, like they are a little too rumbly. Not sure why that is, but once that is fixed, I can't find much more criticism on the mixdown. Of course, if it were me, I would have had the lyrics a little clearer, but your mic may not be of a high enough quality so going with the distorted effect may have been a good choice!

on Nassa by LefcioPL
Oooo that subbass that starts working when the beat goes in is a really nice touch, it just adds to the spacey vibe going on in the track. And the percussive elements scattered throughout are really nice as well!

on DMR-Lightz and WMA - Things That I Would Change by LIGHTZ
That older Flux Pavilion vibe is strong XD! Maybe if you were to layer the drop with a lead it could add a bit more character, and a more personal touch. Just a thought, it sounds dope as it is! And make sure that those lyrics sync up right, I actually made a song a LONG time ago with these same lyrics (not advertising, I hate this track now, just showing you how I used them differently).

on Infinity by Oxnitrogen
That saw bass sounds really nice, love how it drives the track! If I were to recommend something, it would be to make sure that the sidechain on the bass isn't too long. Usually a short and sweet duck will produce more powerful results. Love the melodic vibe, keep flowing with that!

on djproject Electric Love original mix by djproject
Wow, those drums are SUPER clean, my piece of advice would be to add a few more elements, even if it's just another synth. Give it some complexity, but don't go overboard!

on restless spirit by pmarino
To offer some advice, make sure that you don't over compress! Trust me, it is MUCH better to have a good sounding track that is a little quieter. It sounds a little messy overall.

I really dig the different elements though! I'm sure you'll get the hang of it!

on Avicii - Waiting For Love -SleeplezZ Remix- by DoctorPyro
WHAT. How come I didn't here about this back in April? That sucks, but at least he said he is still making music.

Now with regards to your track, I love the big-room/dance vibe you have going on, good remix!

I was NOT expecting those analog plucks midway through! Nice touch, make sure that you don't over compress the track, it sounds a tad squashed. Great work, I really dig that second PreDrop where the drums cut out!

on Yesteryear by MrAstros
Those strings are a fantastic touch, it would be a much different song (possibly worse) if you didn't include them! I remember hearing something from the artist Varien about how if you incorporate two genres of music in your songs you can get a unique outcome. Well it seems you have done just that! Nice work, keep it up!

on Oblainix Scars Ft Sehya by Nuno22
Make sure to allow the vocals to have some power, which may just mean raising the volume a little bit. And I really dig the vocal pitch raise right before the predrop! And the delay in when the drums come in was a smart idea!

on HellD by IGS
That pulsating synth sounds really nice, especially when you layer it with the synth in the lower octave. It really makes a song enjoyable when you can pick apart the different elements but also just enjoy the song in general. Nice work!

on Take The Sword by D2GProductions
The brass elements sound really nice with the drum samples you chose/created! Sounds like you just need a good rapper/vocalist and this would be one heck of a track!

D2GProductions replied 30th Aug 2016 - 8 years ago
Thanks for the feedback. I really do want a good rapper to showcase this track.
CorruptionEDM
Make sure to be careful of over compressing your vocals. The volume of them seems to duck when the kick hits. Vocals are the one element best left UN-sidechained, because they should give power to a song. I really like how the piano melds with the beat, nice layering!

on Rejection Ft Steklo by LoneRemnant
I like that little synth thing you did at the beginning with the chords. Sounds really nice, something Virtual Riot would use. The only criticism I have would be make sure the vocals are in the same key as your music. They sound a bit off, nice work otherwise!
