I'm ready to play some MegaMan! If you want to get some inspiration (and I'm sure you have already listened to his work) I would recommend Manami Matsumae. Great stuff that is truly timeless!

It sounds like you can really pump up the volume on this track without worrying about clipping. If I were to recommend a plugin, it would be GClip. I use it on all my masters to get some extra volume. I really dig the bass pluck, it sounds unique, which is really important in this genre!

The drums really give an Excision vibe! If I were to give some advice, tone down the volume on your bass sounds to allow the drums to cut through. My rule of thumb is it's usually better to have the drums be a little bit louder over the bass than the other way around. Nice work!

thanks dude i appreciate the feedback, ive heard sidechaining helps with that ill check out a tutorial on it.and also keep the up on the next one :)

I really like the intro reese bass! It helps give the track some character, as well as that snare that comes in!
