on T45-Omar-Soundhound Project by soundhound
Dude, that is a DOPE intro. So groovy. So catchy and mysterious haha. That drum comes in and picks up the pace.

The cool little simple guitar solos are lovely!

That bass is nice and crisp, stands out without being too ferocious.

Reminds me of the video game "Gran Turismo 6" when you're sitting in the lobby area, they always play songs along this line of genre, and I LOVE it.

Still digging that guitar solo. So simple and yet sophisticated.

Great job. Simple is sometimes the best way to go. Very catchy.

Good job on this one soundhound. Still digging the profile pic btw :-)

Thanks Man, I was just messing around with this and locked into
something that I like...
That is why it's all music to me, it feels good and moves freely
and it is what it is...Dancing in the 70's...

Glad you enjoyed the track and commented kindly...

Wow, I'm impressed with this. I love the intro, and the panning "salt-shaker" thingies are so cool :P Sounds almost mystical :p That lead synth sounds almost like an electric guitar haha. It is definitely an abstract piece, and even though it's not what I listen to everyday, I still am attracted to its unique beauty. Can't say why haha.

Thank you Epic!

Firstly all sounds are from my new Roland synth, some of the presets are really cool with all the panning and cool-sounding candy on it. The lead is actually a flute-like synth lead, not really a guitar lead but I manipulated a lot of pitch bending so it may give some interesting guitar-like sound at some places indeed.

Yes, probably this is not not something you can hear on the radio haha. Happy you liked my creation for what it is!

Thank you again for nice words and all the best, Alex

Love that intro. The piano chords are interesting and well executed...Wow, those drums. Beautiful. Nice and big. Whatever you have here, keep chasing it. I really like those big drums. It'd be cool to have a tambourine or shaker in there somewhere towards the end to keep it moving. I like those chopped female vocals you got in there haha. Good one here, bud. Keep it up!

on Learning new master technique by L0neW0lf
I personally think it sounds good for the purpose it is pursuing. When you're in the club dancing to this music or at a beach concert, nobody really cares too much about the "dynamic range" of a song. It's just great to rock out to. I think it sounds good, though I agree that maybe the bass could be a tad punchier. Feels a tad lacking; a very small tad.

Very interesting track. I love the electric guitar. I'm not sure if there are some parts that are clipping or if it's the distortion but I notice some buzz. The voice sounds great - bigger than life. I enjoy listening to the vocals. What plugin do you use for your vocal? Well put together song. Good work!

on Haunted Sunshine by Evisma
Wow, I love the mysterious atmosphere this song has. The drums are pretty sweet, even if they are MIDI. the guitars gain most of the attention so its not that big of a deal imo. Wow, the groove is really cool. I like the interest of the guitars. I honestly have nothing to critique, except maybe add a bassline? I don't know if there's one but I think it'd...Ahh there it is, it just came in :P Great work here sir! No complaints! It's beautiful, as always! Keep em' coming!

"maybe add a bassline? I don't know if there's one but I think it'd...Ahh there it is, it just came in"

You may have been ninja bass-lined! Don't see it coming, then you're on your ass, nerve-pinched out and pissing yourself in a twitching fit. Happened to me once. Not cool. I hope this was a little more enjoyable than that.

Thanks for the feedback. It is appreciated.

Whats the BPM? From what I gather, its somewhere in the 159.6-159.7 range but I can't find the sweet spot. Did you make it this difficult on purpose? :P

First of all, thanks for this reply I started to worry about that

Second of all, this track isn't is not part of our mixing projet

Last of all, I understand since like you I have some exams soon.I start my exam week at may 18

My last question is at least do you get the .wavs files for the mixing ?

if yes, I will delete that from my dropbox since its take 906 Mo if I remember.

Good success for your future exams :)

Peace

on JAweGuy - Butterfly Effect by JAweGuy
Geez, I love those string VSTs dude! I wish I had access to that stuff haha. I just got my keyboard :P Beautiful intro, the next segment has the juicy strings and the heavy base drums and it sounds like sugar to my ears! Such a cool build-up! Sounds like something from Brand X or Audiomachine! Dope stuff, keep it up man!

Hey EpicRecord,

Always a pleasure to read your comments. Thanks for checking it out!

I do take my libraries for granted sometimes, always looking for the next best thing. I play around with the mixing a lot to achieve crisp results on the strings.

I started with Edirol Orchestral several years back which isn't an amazing plugin but by playing with the reverb and highs/mids/lows, you can achieve good results! Even some string synths are acceptable! But, I am very fond of the `Orchestral Essentials` library from ProjectSam, which was the main library used for the legato strings in this composition. The staccato strings were created with `Monster Staccatos`, very good sound on those.

:)

My apologies Dear for not getting back to you sooner. Thank you so much for your appreciation. Agape love, the action, is truly something that can cure a lot of what ails us today. It is a "verb", an action word, something that we have to do to find that inner-peace we all are searching for:-)

Thank you again, Dear and have a blessed week.

O_o

Wow thanks, I guess you readed my pm and what about my other one ? will you like to help me for the other one?

Anyway atm Im making the special .zip with all you will need to have flexibility on your edit pretty all instrument in .wav

there are 3 things this tune needs ... I think ...

1) better drum sound because without my great sound system we barely hear the drum

2)I found the organ a bit to high compared to the main melodie XD

3)At 2.33 min this should be very intense and the main violin melodi should be (lourd).

p.s those thing was what I think this tune needs but feel free to do what you want.

I think maybe the piano at the intro could have it's volume raised a bit. Seems to be getting drowned out by the bass synth. Keep it up!
