on ACOUSTIC LADYLAND by RonGallagher
Hello Voltage,

Thought I'd stop by and give a listen to this tune. I like acoustic guitar as I have a 'Mitchell' here I bought last fall.

I've used it in some of my country tunes, but not anywhere else. It is hard to keep up with all the different instruments I play.

Anyways, I am sorry you lost this girlfriend last year. There is usually a good reason and both parties have to agree on most things, or relationships don't work out. As for me, I am Legally Separated as of Oct. 2007, but I've had enough wives so I won't be looking around anymore. My music keeps me very occupied now and my rotating shift work job.

I like your playing here and arrangement. You did a very nice job here and I like it a lot.
Keep up playing and enjoy what time you can making more music.
I plan on adding more vocals to my tunes now that I have found someone in another state that can sing well and collab with that way. (Warrior777 on here)

Thanks Randy.
Would love to track that Mitchell guitar of yours. They have a beautiful spirit. Happy you have a vocalist working with you. Your tracks are solid and deep. Thanks for your kind words of encouragement.

on What Will I Do... Without You? by KaterJames
Hi KaterJames,

Wanted to stop by and give a listen to your latest tune.
I like the addition of the vocals as it certainly makes a song rather than the instrumentals I make all the time.

I like the guitar sound very much. Has a nice sound/feel to it.
So it shows that you can do a great job putting together loops as I do in most of my tunes.

Very nice job here and the Blues part at the end is very refreshing.

on Attack Of the Metal by ReapHavok
Hello ReapHavok,

Had to come by and check out your latest.
Very nice playing overall. Lot of good guitar playing going on here. Probably a heavier tune than I would do myself as I am not into metal all that much really.

On my computers speakers here, everything sounds pretty well balanced.
I'd say a good job of putting it together, and with the tempo changes, makes it more of an interesting tune to listen to.

Thanks for sharing,
Randy

on dont get uptight by Dvibe
Hi there Dvibe,

I see you have this tune uploaded twice for some reason?

I like this one, nice vocals and jazzy sounding. The organ/piano sound adds a good feel to the tune.

I don't sing myself so I can't comment on that more, except to say I can hear all the words clearly and that is very important.

Good job Devibe!

on on my way to heaven by Dvibe
Hi again Dvibe,

Nice pleasant listening track here. I think you need to have more bass coming out. The keys are fine and the beat as well. Does have a nice latin feel to it as KapKurt already mentioned..
Nice job Dvibe.

on escaping the demons by Dvibe
Hi Dvibe,

Thought that I'd stop by here and check out your latest tunes.
Well, my opinion of this song is that it is too slow. I think it would sound much better at a faster tempo. But, that is just my opinion.
Nothing wrong with the words or the guitar playing or your voice as far as I'm concerned. 31 folks listened to it and I'm the 1st reviewer? Strange eh?

on T.R.A.N.S.I.T.I.O.N. by DanielGtrman
Hello Daniel,

Thanks for your reply about my Telecasters. Both the Buck Owens Limited guitars I got off E-bay from Canada. The exchange rate made it cheaper for me. Both are like brand new and are for investment purposes.

As for Flicker, I don't go there often to upload anything eklse.
However, you should go to this site below and join up for free and be heard by up to 1.5 million visitors a month just in the music section alone.
The web site you may have heard about is:
www.talenttrove.com. I have all my tunes and pictures there.

My address there is: http://www.talenttrove.com/mystage/view/3222
There I have pics of all my 9 guitars, Pedal Steel and Banjo, etc.
Since I have joined last Oct., I now have over 51,000 plays on my 18 tunes now. You don't get a lot of feedback tho...but that is ok as I can't imagine answering all those letters!
Many of the artist on here, are on there now too.

As for this song here, it is really nice and pleasant to listen to. the "D" chord is my favorite chord. Whehn you play the bass guitar and hit a "D", it just seems to have the ring to it.

Very nicely done and a nice clear sound.

Thanks for sharing it.

on Waiting by lofthouse
Hello there Lofthouse,

I appreciate you stopping by and listing to my Blues 101 tune I made last year. So here I am checking out your latest in return.

I appreciate your comments on my tune. Winning a Grammy award would be cool for sure, but rarely do instrumentals win something like that.

I like this song here a lot you did. Very good beat..excellent vocals and story line and use of effects. Sounds like you've got a good knack for piecing things together as I do.

Thanks again for your review.

on A Little Blues Jam by Jeff05C
Hi wookie,

Well, looks like you only have 1 track for me to review.

First off, I think it all sounds really good. The guitar sound is very nice. The fuzz part tho is pretty thin...unless that is the sound you wanted to hear.
The piano part lends itself into the mix nicely.
Other than this and allowing some natural drums breaks, you did a nice job. I like it.
Randy

Jeff05C replied Unknown
Hi Randy, Thanks for the comment. I totally agree, especially about the this fuzz sound. I was just fooling around and didn't take the time to actually use my ears until I was in too deep. Oh well, lesson learned. I agree about the breaks etc, but this is just a track for me to get acid figured out, and how to capture and edit things in a way that will give me decent quality, so I think it has served most of it's purpose. I had a blast doing it but I do cringe a little bit when the fuzz comes in. Maybe I'll re record it one day with some fat a$$ tone.

Thanks

on Morning by spacestationwagon
Hi Neil,

Nice acoustic playing in this. Birds singing in the background.

Nice ambient sound in the background....guess that is why it is called ambient in the genre.

Basically a pleasant tune to wake up to. I don't usually drink coffee tho usually. Mostly orange juice.

Thanks for the tune.

Hello herozero92,

Getting around to review your only track here as you recently did one of mine. I guess I would have to agree on the boomy sound. If you could cut back on that, you'd have a 'nicer' track.

Thanks for sharing it.

Hi Rei,

Nice track here. Your guitar playng is very good. I like the song and find nothing wrong with it. I think I told you before I use betamonkey drums as well. They are right on.

I don't do any jazz myself, So my hats off to you.
Bye for now, and keep up the great playing.

on Country Rock Shindig by DanielGtrman
Hi Daniel,

Thanks for reviewing one of my recent tunes. I appreciate it.

I like your country tune here. I guess you could call it country disco since it isn't exactly 2/4 time. Interesting use of the guitars. I like everything you did to this tune in making it. Well done.

In case you might be interested, I am working on a 'gunfight at the OK corral' type of tune that I will upload shortly. I am sure you like the quality of it.

Nice job you did with this tune. Take care and have fun.

on Max Cohen by Littbarski
Hello HrubeshDj,

I never heard of the movie you mentioned, but then I don't see a lot of movies. Looks like you had a lot of listeners, but no reviews back, so I'll be the first.

I suppose you used mostly loops then in the making of this tune?
The tune has some interesting tones in it from the instruments.
Good drums. Just think the song needs more fill to it.

So thanks for reviewing one of my rock tunes as well.

at first thank you 4 the review you're very kind, about the film i suggested to you if you like crazy movie. and in reference of the track i've done all the loops not from the movie but using my own software from magix, and the voice is mine.
Cheers!

on cicada dream by pappathorpe
Hi Pappathorpe,

You reviewed one of my tunes recently and I am just getting around to give reviews back.

An interesting sound in the background. I have never heard of that cicada sound, but then I don't use Garageband.

I think you did a good job in arranging this tune. Putting loops together is fun as I do it often mixing in my own playing. I don't play drums, so I use recorded drums from www.betamonkeymusic.com

Thanks for sharing this tune.

on Not missing her at all by KaterJames
Hello Katerjames,

Thanks for reviewing one of my tunes a short while back.

I like this tune here. I liked the ues of the voices and I like the mandolin sound. It's one of the instruments I never learned to play as it seemed the frets are so close together. :)

Nice job of putting the loops together.

on some more by lowblow
Hi lowblow,

Say thanks for reviewing one of my recent tunes...so now I am reviewing this one of yours.
Pretty nice little song. I like the organ part in particular.

The bass was nice too. Loops are fun to play around with if your not a musician at all. I mix loops with my own playing and try to match the sound so that no one can tell when I jump in and play...except where I say so.

Thanks for sharing this one with us.

on The Tapestries - Scene 3 by Scriptique
Hello Scriptique,

So I see your from what we call 'down-under'. Summer there now...winter here.
I see you like medieval type tunes. I like that period as well with the harpsichord sound and flutes.

Sounds like you put alot of work into this one and a lot of time programming note by note in some cases.
If entered in by midi, you can enter mistakes and then edit them at your own pace.

I appreciate all the work you put into it and also for reviewing my Latin/Spanish tune.
Thanks for sharing.

Getting around to review one of your tracks since you did one of my rock ones recently. I always try to 'pay back'.

This was a pretty short track as you mentioned, but enjoyable. probably if you messed around with it more, you could make it longer and throw in some more things.

on SWEET LOUISE by Billy_England
Very nice song Billy.

Sounds like a live on stage recording. I guess this was posted back in April. Not sure if you have your songs set to featured or not.
If not, you should go back to each one in the 'Edit my Track' and check the box that says 'Featured'...then click on Save and you'll be all set. That way your songs will rotate around fairly often and come up as 'featured' and get played/noticed more often.

Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like you got things going for you with playing and touring alot. Can't ask for much more if your having fun.

Good vocals here too. Like the song a lot.
