I hear two influences in this track. Avicii, and kygo. To me, there is to much going on. I know your head is in the EDM world. Take a break from that world!
I too love this genre, and style, but it's too overwhelming. No particular style from you.
You have potential to make something great. I know this is absurd of me, but I suggest you explore more genres besides EDM. I promise you, you will like what you listen too.
Get out of your comfort zone, and listen to a ton of different genres. Keep doing this, and watch how your style develops.
I read your bio. I know you want to make music for peoples happiness, but you got to start with your happiness 1st. Focus on yourself, and your happiness. I believe, the feelings you have while making music, can transfer the same feelings you had to others. Believe it or not, there is a strange thing too this, than just music.
Thanks for guidance ... IDK why but
I feel better with edm
There are so many
other people people around world and all of them uses the same synths and leads ... I know , edmers are so similar . I wanna find my way between many genres of music greg ... in my country it's forbidden and you can't play edm concert ... my purpose isn't find crazy girls and pick the lines up with them ... I wanna find better way to make music , not just about sex and pornographic goals ... and all of us know that now in the world there are djs that they only wanna be famous ... they only wanna be superguy , it's a huge problem ... MAKING MUSIC FOR ATTRACTION ... I tried many genres before , like pop and rock ... now I found my way ... Multigenre music not only EDM ... I play piano sometimes and also guitar . Thanks a lot greg for your opinion and I'll think about it ...
I'm proud of you man! Interesting story, and crazy goosebumps over here man. Ayeeee! That male vocalist at the ending. This track is sick man. I love this ^-^
Uhh man! The ambiance and everything else sound good, except the drums. To be honest, you messed up the drum pattern man. You would of killed this track with better drum patterns, and bass.
As for the microphone, I'm basically using the one that came bundled with the Scarlett Solo Studio pack. I'm also using Izotope Nectar 2 for vocal enhancements.
"Yes I have a lot of tips." This might come off as strange, but my advice would be to learn music theory. I know some people say, you don't need it, but knowledge of advance music theory, and imagination unlocks crazy ideas. Thrust me bro!
The next thing is read and watch any kind of music producer interviews. They give great advice that will help you; don't overlook the interviews, thrust me bro!
And watch people make a track from scratch on youtube. Some days I will just chill, and watch dudes make something. It's very refreshing, and your learn things.
This is an important advice (must read)
There will be a time, when you will want to stop making music; you will feel beaten down for some reason. Don't listen to those thoughts. It will come, and it hits hard. Just plow through it, it will pass eventually. After you will feel good ^-^
I know you hear to this a lot, but this song is amazing. Just too good man! Teach me how to make something like this. I listen to a lot of indie music, but is there any tutorials?
Those strings man; piano and guitar instruments was on point. This is a huge production, and arrangement. Did music theory played a big part in this musical piece?
Thanks alot Greg for this positive feedback...much appreciated! As far as my part of the job on this collab is
in question there was no music theory involved. I always rely on instinctiveness when making music no matter how weird this might seem...:) However, Ed probably knows much more about music theory than me, so this question would be better directed to him....:)
Future Bass Music pham. Aye man, your take on this is next level. The age of future music is near man, i can feel it. I'm excited to know the music of coming years, 2027 ^-^
