P.S. Just as a tip for anyone else reading this, the saw really isn't an LFO. It's sidechained to silent drums so I can get the rhythm I want easily and I used a utility (basically a volume meter for Ableton) to make it sound cleaner. Just using sidechain sounded a bit messy.

I'm late omg man! I just have to comment before I go to bed. This have so much feelings put into this man, like you pour your heart out on this one. It's like something wants to run away and experience the world. Not sure if this is how you feel, but listening to this makes me feel that way. What up Greg, MACK MAN here. Thankyou for the possitive comment, and taking time to listen. I took a little time with this one. I tried to keep it simple but strong with the melody line, which is the most important element in a song, and yes theory is very important. It helps you to know and understand what you're doing. With out undertsanding chords and how they function will limmit your ability to write on certain levels. One of my secrets for creating is, I rarely listen to the radio. I don't care what sounds are in, or what beats are happening or what the latest accapela is,because once those concepts get a hold on your subconscious you become a coppycat writer. Try not listening to any radio music for a month and hear what happens to your creativity.You will only have your musical thoughts and skills to depend on. Thanks again.Will stop by. PEACE. Aye bruh, greetings, welcome to looperman! I did say I was going to critique. This is not to come off as hate or mean. The kick, clap, and hit hats is rubbish. The drum pattern didn't really work with the track. Good lyrical writing, the vocals isn't that bad, but not satisfying either. I believe with a little more practice you two can make something beautiful together.
I never got a chance to really listen to this genre. This kind of is music is refreshing. Do you have any recommendations of music to listen too in this genre?
Well, I got inspired by teh Supperclub albums. Mixes you can find on Soundcloud. Otherwise Paul Oakenfield(as mentioned below) also makes this kind of music back in the day.

Aye I saw your email bro. I play it few times, and I like the vocals. At 1:14 should of been the intro, that was a sick build up. I'm afraid, from 1:14 to 2:24 only stood out to me. I didn't liked the rest.

For the chorus, yyeeaahh that prob needs work and im still working on it so well see how it turns out.
