Wow! I really enjoyed this song. The choice of sounds is very good and the synth riffs very intriguing. I would see it fit into an action scene in a science fiction movie. Great work, keep it up.

Track with an extraordinary creative charge. Brilliant choice of unusual sounds and sinuous sound paths that intertwine in an unconventional way make it a little experimentation jewel.

It is really very interesting how you manage, using rather simple sounds, to create suggestive and alienating atmospheres, with an avant-garde style that happily comes out of the usual patterns.

This song is simply fantastic. It encloses in a short space of time the brilliant folly of the Residents together with the otherworldly tones of the soundtracks of science fiction films of the 50s.

My favorite music is the one that speaks to my brain as well as to my ears. What I want to say is that I am not satisfied with an immediate and superficial use of sounds but I am looking for deeper levels. Your songs offer me just the kind of listening I'm looking for and they stimulate my mind very pleasantly.

Also very interesting this song with a pleasant minimalist structure that refers to the vintage atmospheres of Tom Dissevelt, but also to some works by Autechre, as well as of course to your personal imprint of cultured and avant-garde music.

Dear Friend, I am taking interest in your music whose characteristics of originality and creativity I appreciate. Your compositions cannot be confined within the restricted limits of a genre and this makes them surprising and new. I also appreciate the quality of the recordings and the well-made mix.

Thanks Marco, everything is done in the old school tracker. This composition is based on the local version of Pinocchio (not the original one) ... The main theme is about the rat ...
This is a well-executed piece and the message is important. I work in the medical sector in Italy and I have been able to see that it was the effect of Covid-19 which here hit us very hard with numerous victims.

Fantastic electronic abrasive sound. Synths convey an important current affair story very effectively. Your use of the recorded voices reveals great mastery and control of the sound material. You got a song of immediate impact but at the same time with a fascinating sound. I have friends in Portland, they are the organizers of the Lovecraft Film Festival (which this year, like many other events, will take place only remotely) and they tell me about a difficult moment. My thoughts are with you with the confidence that the situation will improve soon. Very often good things can arise from the darkest situations. The whole world for a variety of reasons in these complicated times is experiencing a significant historical junction but strangely I have the feeling that all this will eventually evolve in a better direction. "Ex tenebris vita".
Best wishes from your friend Marco
I have heard of the Lovecraft Film Festival. Sadly, I've never been able to attend. My work schedule is quite unconventional and has never landed on a time that I could make it. Hopefully, with the changes in my own life right now, that will be something I can do in the future.
"Very often good things can arise from the darkest situations. "
This is so very true. About 5 years ago my life took a very dark turn. But, from it, came the greatest thing that could have happened. It's much like the seasons. Out of the darkest winters come the most colorful springs.
This is a very fascinating song with a solemn and threatening pace at the same time. The rhythm is very articulated and the voice goes very well with the sounds of the guitar. You know how to blend characteristics of rock very well with those of the most refined electronics and the result is truly excellent.

To be honest with you, I forgot about this song! I made this one in a dark and difficult time in my life, and kind of just pushed it out of my memory with everything surrounding it. I had to go back and listen to it again.
I think, as far as the guitars go, there could be some adjusting. I may revisit this one for the mixing.
I think the blending of rock and electronic is more instinctual than a conscious effort. I've listened to rock and metal since I was a kid in the 70's, so it's become ingrained into how I hear music. Therefore, it comes through in my own creations, no mater which genre I work in. Which, honestly, is perfectly fine by me.
Marco, thank you for taking the time to go back through some of my older works. Not only to listen, but to comment as well. It's greatly appreciated.
Hello Steronomicon,
I started and finished this track yesterday.
It was a huge mistake to post "on the fly".
Your kind words are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for the listen and comment.

Wonderful song propelled by a captivating rhythm and beautiful vintage synths played in a state of grace. It all sounds like an iridescent space funfair frequented by a multitude of rejoicing aliens. Keep it up!
Excellent ambient song with Nu jazz elements, performed with great professionalism. All elements are in perfect balance and the mix sounds clean and present when listening.
Best wishes
Fantastic piece of sound experimentation, you came out of your genre a bit but you still made a work of great impact and creativity. Now I look forward to your other steps in this direction. Greetings from your friend Marco
Very interesting and pleasant song. The compositional style in some parts reminds me of the music that Michael Numan has made for some Peter Greenaway films.
I discovered your music and I understand that I like it very much. I particularly appreciate the mastery of the sounds you demonstrate and the mysterious and disturbing atmospheres you are able to evoke. I will follow you with great attention, thanks for sharing. A cordial greeting Marco
Marco, sorry for the delayed response. I'm terrible about being timely.
Thank you for taking time to not only listen, but to comment as well. And with such kind words.
If you enjoy the darker atmospheres in my work, I suggest listening to my track "Labrynth Of The Absurd". It's labelled as Dubstep, but only in the sense that it has some wobbly bass and a 140 bpm.
Very experimental and particular, unfortunately I don't understand German and therefore I can't judge the lyrics, but the very Krautrock sound effect really impressed me. I love this type of work that goes off the ordinary tracks of the usual production, there is also a pinch of Nina Hagen in all this.

Really remarkable is the care you have had of the sound in this song. Everything is extraordinarily clean and crisp but at the same time full-bodied and round. The arrangement is very interesting, this piece is written from the usual listening and creates a strong impact accent. Overall it's exactly the kind of music I love to listen to. In some parts, while offering absolute originality, it recalls the sonic atmospheres of the Cybertracks vein of the 90s.

Hello. Welcome to the world of Valvedriver. A dark and mysterious place heavily influenced by classic rock, heavy metal, dubstep, d-n-b, horror films, the dark underbelly of religion, and the ugly truth behind humanity, and of course, those cybertracks of the ‘90s.
Thank you, with great appreciation, for taking time to listen and time to leave the kind words,
Excuse me so much, I entered a comment by mistake intended for another song. The right comment for your song is the following: The use you make of the dissonant chords with respect to the voice is interesting and creates a situation of suspension and mystery. The percussion sounds good even if at times I feel distortions caused by the high level of recording. A cordial greeting
i truly am happy you gave a listen, thank you for the perceptive comments. it’s hard to get distortion right, i appreciate you pointing me in the right direction
