Hey thanks friend for taking a listen! I'm not sure if I'll be doing a new mix of this or not. I've been kind of focused on inducing a spontaneous vibe into my songs, and remixing can destroy that vibe, so it's a tough call. I appreciate the comment!
Very good song here. Synths are too loudly mixed for the track imo they push out the vocals and the drums. The performances are great and the arrangement is solid! Agree that this is a good collab combination, would like to hear an album of this band/duo.
-Slimm
Superb. Only comment from me is in mixing, in some parts the cymbals and snare bottom sound a little too front and center and dominate a little too much for my taste. The instrumental and the vocal really compliment each other well. Strong rhythmic arrangements.
-Slimm
I appreciate your honest feedback! Thanks for the complements. As far as the mix goes I'm pretty much still learning as I go & this type of feedback allows me to go back an pay attention to the specific areas that you mention. I appreciate you for that as well!
Good sounding track. Expected a house style 4 on the floor drop at 1:20 after swoop/build. would really like to hear it with that in a club setting. Enjoying the shuffling in the drum programming and the smooth arps. Vocals sound great. Very well used synth sounds.
-Slimm
You know, I was about to add a solid house drum 4/4 precisely where you wanted to hear it but forgot all about it somewhere a long the way!
I also think it would be a good match there.
Will have to try that.
They all sound good, so which is best depends on where it's used imo. My favorite part is the final beat bc of the triangles. They ring out nicely without overpowering the beat.
-Slimm
Triplet halftime synths at 1:10 are killer, the detuning sounds great and adds character to the lead melody. Uplifting with good composition and well chosen/crafted sounds.
-Slimm
The beat and production is killing. The vocals sound a little forced to me rhythm-wise in some spots. chop and nudge would pocket it nicely i think. I like this track quite a bit.
-Slimm
very cool track. The lyrics sit in a novel way. I don't speak German, but it sounds well delivered, particularly after the break around 1:20 with the low voice. Nice proper reggae. sweet production.
-Slimm
Thanks a lot for this friendly words man.
Looks like i done some that realy a lot people like.
Many told me that they realy love the second part (the refrain) cause it sounds so reggaelike....
So thanks for the time to listen and youre nice words

I like the different feel of the parts. the transitions are a little abrupt, but when I listen to it as a collage of samples it's very appealing. Especially the dark sounding guitar riff with delay and the ring-mod bell sound that has stereo delay. Good work. could be tied together with a vocal or a lead instrument imo. Hi-five to all old bass players.
-Slimm
Reminds me of some DMX style track. Gets really sharp around 1:00 mark. Well done. Bass drum is a little boxy(too hot in low-mid) on my monitors. Very well put togethen man!
-Slimm
The marimba sound with the delay is dope as hell. It's ripe for a deep swanky bassline imo, but the tuning in the vocal sample would make that tricky. I'll gladly make you a live played bassline for it if you can post or email a stripped down version without the vocal. I dig it. bangs.
-Slimm
believe! They can always rap in half-time too. A good rapper can work with almost any rhythm. I bet you can find an acapella here and chop it up with no problem. Good luck!
-Slimm
Great samples. Way old school. Really like the vibes sample. All it needs are some cuts and a strong vocal and it's good to go. Bassline could be a little louder/thicker on my monitors. Love this style of music.
The sample fits well with the music. Wouldn't mind hearing cross-genre vocals in the first and last part. Feels a little sparse in the beginning. Maybe adding a sub synth or additional vocals would fill out the mix. Great start and well executed.
Sounds great. Groovy.
I know you are performing a cover and it's very nicely done. Wondering if you put together the midis for it too, well played midis. I imagine that you are very good live bc the vocal sounds relaxed and practiced.
Hello There! Thanks so much for stopping by. I'm happy to know you enjoyed the track. Thanks also for your comments. I did not create the midi track. I purchased it.
-like method man did with roni-size. I can def hear an aggro rap over this. A breakdown or something like that in the middle would be fantastic. Good drum programming and arrangement. Mix is just fine. The ending sounded a little abrupt to me with no reverb tail. nice DnB flavor.
-Slimm
what beatzmode said. The snaps are tight with the pluck. Also like the vocal sample(or maybe vocal synth(doowops)).
I just moved from Los Angeles, if that's the LA reference you def lived in a better area than I did! :D
Nice track.
-Slimm
Hehe. really shines for me from about 1:10 until the ending. Massive bsod in progress. Kudos for proper abuse of midi. Good 'boss' music for a twisted videogame. Cooool \m/
I like this wub. Seriously good use of that type of sound out of dubstep context. Production is crisp too, breathes and pumps in all the right places. Good one.
-Slimm
Everything you've done here is pretty sweet. My only complaint is that the vocal source sounds a little "boxy" maybe a little treatment on the vocal track would set it off. The relative volumes are perfect, but the mix isn't quite gripping the vocals in front center yet. Great vocal performances and a tight track composition. Hope you keep working on it. Very nice!
