Even its a basic production I love it, Nice work dear friend and Stephanie I love the fact the fist part have no vocals its make the second part more epic.
Hey ! A frenchy in da place !!
Hey Byleth :D I think I found the entrance to your lair. The Aztecs believed a cave in South America was the entrance to the underworld. Archeologist found different rooms with animal bones and artifacts like described in their stories. Yeah, it's pretty wet and I forgot my soap! Lovecraft has a story about a gorilla type beast residing deep in the darkness of a cave, hope it doesn't smell me :O I'll be back to some darker music soon, having way too much fun with my homemade guitars right now. Thanks Master Byleth
Thanks Byleth, She actually says this but because i put on some delay it sounds like this is :p. I am glad you like the atmosphere of the track. It worked out pretty good!
Hello, first I wish you the best of success. im not good with 8bit chiptune but I could maybe help you a bit :
first, based on all the chiptune I have heard the tempo is usually fast.
Second, they play alot with the pinch, don't be afraid to be wide with your main melody
Third, some of the work seems to use slides notes.
Fourth, this is more a advice than a technique but I remember when I was trying to make my first industrial metal track. I simply listen a colossal amount of industrial metal. So if that could help you I recommend you to watch this video and maybe try to watch some of Chipmusic Weekly video here one
Finally, since i try to train my mastering skills its could be awesome to allow me to master your track just for training, I will not distribute the track useless you want. I will also give you a copie. pm me if you are interested.
Peace.
p.s your test isn't a complete waste you could convert it into a intro.
Whats up Byleth! Yes, the tempo of most chiptunes are 200 above but in this track, I used 95 instead. I'm not used in high BPMs since they're harder to control. Maybe on the other tracks in this album I'd give it about 210 or more BPM.
Sure, I'll try improving the melody/melodies.
I'll try adding some slide notes and see if it fits.
I've watched two videos so far since you told me. I can see it uses ALOT of chiptune sound effects. I'll download some effects when I get the time. Also, I have to spice up the drums and the arps a bit according to the tracks.
Thanks btw. And do you mean I'll give you a copy of the file of the track or the mp33 itself? Just reply to me in Pms
Will fit well for a retro video game. there are a way to find your complete work since this track is just the main synth. I would like to heard the full track.
Usually I don't live vocal music but I could say your voice fits pretty well with your work. Nice job
Also I have maybe 2 thing to ask you,
First, could you put the lyric ? For a non English person, like me, who would like to understand the real meaning of your work lyrics is the best friend.
Second, could you make an instrumental version of this track. this would be cool.
Hey thanks for checking out the track, I am kind of opposite in the fact that I like tracks with vocals, I don't usually pay a lot of attention to the lyrics as much as I enjoy them accompanying the music. Anyway thanks for the listen and comment.
Nice reply dear Xyilent, and you are right about the fact in some areas need minor work on it.I still thinks the idea is awesome to have multiple transitions and change the melody each times so try to keep it.
Also the voice thing is my personal opinion. In fact, I generally hate voices except for choirs in epic music. Maybe that ruin my objective judgment.I just wanted to let you know that.
I could recommend you to wait others feedback about the voice before work on it.
haha you a little bias against spoken word in songs? lol thats ok man. i like them as they are but lie you said, ill see if anyone else brings it up and ill revisit them :)
Good track dear Xyilent, I like how you add new melody with the transitions.
Also, I love your simple main melody and how its ends with 2 long notes
The only negative this I can tells is with the voice there are something I dislike but I can't tell you what maybe the positioning in the track "at start and ends of some parts"
thanks byleth, yeah was trying to keep it interesting by changing up the melody with each transition but dont think it quite works yet in some areas, but im close. and hmm ill have a look at the voice thing see if i can fix it and keep it more consistent or something :)
Hello, this track have some good potential I like the voice with its effect, I also like the pure trance parts.
I just found few transitions (voice and pure Trance parts) a bit rude. Once the "waveform in looperman" is fixed I will wrote you down a constructive feedback.
Awesome, this Cinematic track is pretty dark, I love you work with the Music box melody. the Strings stab is great too.
For the first track I play from you im impressed I may check your other works.
The only negative part I could say its the track is maybe too long or too repetitive you have choice shorter this or adding new element through the track like choirs (vocals) or Brass.
if you want I have a good choirs vst if I have few info like the BPM and maybe the .midi of your main melody I could create some choirs just for you free of charges. Pm me if you are interested.
Good but there are a instrumental version of it im just the kind of person who love that kind vocals. I found like the music do not have the same "tempo" as for the vocals or there are missing some keys to root the vocals with the music at some moment.
Thank you very much for listen! :D Well, the laugh at the end, and the background soundscapes are from a library for Kontakt called Welcome to my house. This library belongs to Herbertos Pad Collection 'Fantasya Dreamland' I & II. I have that collection, and the other one called 'Oceanic Odyssey'. Both of them are free.
Nice one reminds be the Horrorcore genre. ( a pretty unknow one). This is pretty nice. I love it, even its simple its somehwhat makes a signature from you. Keep going.
I love the pinch play on the main melody this also reminds me Legends of Zelda Ocarina of time!
Yeah it's kinda old style.I still don't see how it can be used as an alarm clock but I set it!I had fun and scared...When I listened to this with headphones...And it took I think...an hour?Seriously It was easy to make. And thanks for the comment!
p.s the track sounds more epic with my studio monitors. I used a public computer when I wrote the last comment. I somewhat regret since I missed some important thing like the sub bass who made the track more rich. Also the voice is more deep.

nice track;
I like the voice effect you used at 0.55 min who returns at 2.08 min.
Also the msg is good too. Maybe you could write down the lyrics this will help us to follow.
In addition, you should make minor variations for your drum this will reduce the repetition
Finally I love your outro.
Overall ; even hip hop isn't my favorite genre I passed 3:08 min with pleasure!

Rap is not my favorite genre but the dark tone to it with the piano and strings loops gives me a good moment. In fact, very good moment!
this is a great thing for a songwriter to know how to produce/compose music.
This make you very "polyvalent"!
The effect on voice is great too I found its sounds like the devil :P
The only thing I do dislike is at 0:48 min I found there are missing the same fx for the voice as for 0:45 min
I can't believe I will fav my first rap track :P
Great work from a great artist is always welcome into my favorite playlist.
Peace and Handshakes from Byleth or ant4505(if you remember me) !
