This is a really good song that seems like it may have sat around in the ol' DAW a few to many days...weeks...? What i mean to say is that it seems like perhaps you got bored or just didn't know what to do with it and decided to throw on a copy of the Traktor 12 FX found in guitar rig, and just go to town. the first few instances of the gate fx felt like they belonged there and really brought a cool twist to the then sounding great instrumental, but by the 2 1/2 min mark i was like ok this guy is just fucking around on this beat, cause nobody is gonna try n lay down a verse to a beat that is chopped so deep and so often. Still sounds dope but those where just my thoughtS. Cheers
Right off the bat bro this beat is smoking. fuck man i m like looking at it hoping to see a "Looking for collab" button. Dam..lol. This shit is my style of music and the tone of the song is right up my ally. But i suppose you killed this shit already so no need to muck it up. Keep this shit up homie. I like this a lot and i can be pretty picky
Sick. I love the Drums on this track. Did you use Maschine software on this. It reminds me of a particular drum kit I love from one of the expansions. Got a dope track here though. Its very much on par with mainstream rap beats coming from the east coast the past few years. Def could find a home with a legit rapper and maybe commercially released.
Personally I feel like this style of instrumental has been done a bit to much for me to want to jump on it. Im all about trying to find the next sound to spit to. This not a diss though. Like i said the vast majority of rappers would love this beat. Cheers
very unique track i feel, even though it has a sound that feels reminiscent of something found in country top 40 charts. the flow is a bit off beat in my opinion but the words are well spoken and obviously from the heart. I wonder is it a freestyle?
Hey Flonut, thanks for listening and taking the time to comment. It could well be that Mr. Hemanifezt made it freestyle, I only had the acapella that I downloaded from here and built the rest around it. I found the tempo to be 92.65, a very unusual figure. But it could well be that I did not choose the correct tempo. I am not very experienced when it comes to rap and hiphop, so I might not have done Hemanifezt justice. Thanks for your input, much appreciated, I really do!!
I am really digging this vibe right now. I love me some Epic Emo shit. Honestly i would kick a verse to this anytime, cause with the right subject matter and perhaps a bit of a beat after the break this has Banger written all over it.
Some work on the mix would be my biggest critique, as the brilliance of the various orchestral parts seems to be lost or atleast overshadowed by the "GLue" of this mix. Did u use an SSL COmp on this one? or the ableton aprox. of an SSl? if so lighten up on that bitch and watch those violins shine. Other then that id say you got 1/2 of a dope cinematic piece here. its definitely building towards something cool so think crescendo soon. Strong work
im pretty sure that is considered HardCore or HappyHardCore but cheers regardless. Maybe watch the headroom when u limit it next time but in this genre a few clips is nothing big. OVerall a dope Hardcore track....now im gonna take a xanax and try to calm down
I dont know why but im hella feeling this beat right now...My partner is vibing as well.. Must be the lack of sleep...jk. shit has a super unique feel and I am personally stoaked to have the Spock Samples in there.
Overall beat is cool, structure is on point, only problem is the export or mastering is a bit squashed in my opinion. Maybe reprint without the limiter next time. But ill run it through Izo RX and see if i can DeClip the rough spots.
We gonna fuck with this beat sometime soon too, ill be sure to let u know whats up with a copy when we are done..
i think you killed this one bud. its moe of a festival trap feel for me but thats not a bad thing. Im gonna check with my partner but if she is digging this beat like i am ill see about laying down something this weekend and maybe posting it back up. GOod shit. TrapStomped this beat... Dub777
I know I didnt final mix that track, cause I got no vocals for it yet. If anybody send me vocals for it I finish that :). Thanks for the feedback :) more stuff coming soon :P
very poppy in a good way... could see a nice cruise with this playing in the background or perhaps a long makeout session with the lil lady,,, got good vibes
got some sick beat to it...a lil dry for my taste but solid structure and sound...im practicing some tracks at the lab right now id be happy to spit a hot one to ur beat?
Thanks man, I'd love to hear what you got and put in on top of this beat! What do you mean by dry? Is there anything you think I should add to it?
Thanks,
G-Nasty
a smooth track with a fantastic job with the drums particularly the 808 sub kick that is still resonating in my ears... Overall i found it a lil bit dry for my style of rap but still has a very tight flow to it...sick shit
wow . i havent been on loopy for a min but it sounds like the level of production quilaity has been raised. This is a radiop worthy remix and allthough i dont know the original im sure u did it justice. Very Pop Heavy as u intended and very easy to listen to... HIt me with some of that hard shit and u might have a new fan.. All LOve DUb
Its a real pleasure to hear a piece compossed by my fav looper on this site... Even at such a young age you show a trememdous amount of raw talent and obvious apptitude for the arts...
My Partner and I would absolutley love to hear more compositions that you have made and although i know its not your main focus if you ever come across any more instrumentals that you might have stashed away, we would kill to be able to lend a few Barz to a 40a beat
that nelody though!!! i dont feel like the synth u went with gives it quite enough credit, its well played. maybe swap it for a less dirty sounding lead sometime and se if it sounds good. maybe a pluck style synth or HOV with a few less voices
My stage name is Mc ScaRy so of course i dig this vibe....ha...but on the real i definatley feel like you captured the vibe you where going for, as the numerous comments like "Creepy" can backup. But i also feel an element of beauty and twisted fate fucked adventure through depression and rage.....but i am bi polor.....good shit
Flonut7, thanks for taking the time to listen and comment. I always appreciate it when people take that time. I'm glad you enjoyed it. "Creepy" is kind of what I do! Stick around for more fun!
that first kick hits hard as F... excellent work for an intro to a track or album and the vinyl fx sound so sick also as benjizo noticed....
look forward to hearing what comes of this track
For a piece entirely recorded on a single instrumeT it has some great depth. I can't say it's your best work but certainly upholds your reputation for some of the finest ambient trap on loopy. Strong work.
Yes, this new hardware synth sounds quite different (and much better) from the plugins I was using earlier.
I played all layers from the keyboard (with very minimal processing added) mostly using synth prestets. It offeres also a great sound editor and probably almost endless possibilities for creative sound design but I will need more time to explore this feature seriously.
Happy you liked this one - thanks a lot for some good words.
i could so use this as a foundation for a sick dub glitch track, maybe add a bit more to the drums and finish off some of the mixing but this is some good work bro

Lil bit repetitive as far as flow goes. could be a bit more aggressive i think as well. But overall classic eastcoast underground sound
