But I know what I like...and this is choice!....Great transportation through..very smooth and buttery beat with a compelling vox..........I think I might becoming a convert to this genre.....cheers planet
Great work as usual...But your asking for some help...Ok I can't sing for shit, but this track in my mind is calling out for some gritty raw emotive female vocals, to juxtapose the tight precise manner of the guitar work....enter KattWinter a resent addition to looperman...she's fresh and raw and needs someone of your ability to bring out the real power that I think she's capable of..where as if you use an accomplished voice it could detract slightly from your wonderful playing...........just my thoughts ..planet
Hey this is cool....great collab...pretty amazing when you consider your thousands of miles apart...you manage to get it on together!!......way to go!...cheers planet
Hi Mr.Splish...first time visitor to your place and I must say it's very neat.......I reckon' this piece is great ..it's got a great beat with plenty of skates to each side of it. A nice intro would turn this into maxi mode..I also use FM8...have a go at the arpeggiator in cojunction with a cool patch, that'll segue nicely with just a few key hits........cheers planet
Hi Tara.....Bravo!...An excellent example of thinking outside the box..Putting a beat down always positions the listener in a particular genre or grid..when you add other elements usually they are of the same mood or expectation..here we have a marvelous juxtaposition with a piano's almost atonal triads against a steady hop groove..works beautifully.....major cred!!...........cheers planet
This isn't what I'd normally groove to....but anyone with that attitude is missing so much.....that's why I love this site..you can find gold........I'm not going to talk about the song..it's your voice HH that warrants all the attention....You are well placed vocally to really springboard..excellent diction..timing...pitch awareness..it's all there.....you can be better than good................you can do it!........cheers planet
Hey brass hows it hanging?..I just got off at the brassic bus stop.Quite an eye opener..from the almost didgeridoo synth to the driving drums...enjoyed it right through...keen for more of this...cheers planet
Hey Hak! nice to meet you man.....Shit! when I was 14 all I could think about was...(censored).Anyway I digress..This is an interesting contraption you've created here man..almost on the fringes of atonal..tapping into that rich gumbo of afterlife and suspense.......you say you're in a certain grade in piano and guitar, well my man I give you an A+++ for this.......keep this up,and by the time you graduate...you'll be beating the girls off with a stick!.....cheers planet
JG...You've got a way wicked handle on that bass!...This is simply edible!..just love the way your panning in and out with those stabs...Man you are no snakeoil salesman, but you've got a big Gladstone bag full of tricks...was thinkin' about the Gadgetland Music Factory the other day..wrote you some lyrics....cheers planet
Positive vibes from this, nice stabs and the drums counterpoint well..the only thing I would suggest is a more specific title...but thats only my spin on it ....great track dude.....cheers planet
Hey Game...hows it Hanging?....Great track dude!...I really like what your doing with the drum tempo in this piece..mirrored by the synth and guitar..it sounds like a symphonic dust up...way cool......cheers planet
Great tune for so many things...Driving,commuting,dancing,thinking.......by the way Abe..I've been reading your posts in the forum..you are one very articulate, switched on,well informed individual..and it shows in your music.....keep on keepin' on ...cheers planet
First welcome to the pool!.......It's mighty fine when you jump in...and jump in you have! This is way fresh..and way out there...just where I like it!...........cheers planet
In physics class when we used ripple tanks, I used to try and make the perfect point break....unlike Trey I wasn't the sharpest cue in the rack when it came to science....This really is a special treat. I find all of Trey's music wound by an inquiring mind and a love for the connectivity in life....Thanks esh, for adding more to our understanding and love of Trey.........................planet
stepping over the tufts of frozen grass the mares blue shadows blend with the early morning light, their misting breath rises to meet the new born sun...we are one ...we are many...we are free.....
You look and it gives you something...I don't quite know what ,but it's reassuring..This track does the same thing for me......it's very emotional..the giving..more so than the music.........this will move all who listen.............planet
