Really enjoyed listening to this, the vibe it carries is infectious, F2F. Its got that smooth energy that just sits right and lifts the mood. Stay true to the call, and keep doing great work.

Man, thank you so much for the words! 'Stay true to the call' really hit home, especially with everything going on right now.

I truly appreciate you taking the time to check my tracks and connect with the vibe like that, brother.

on You Stand Tall by Kayos2
They say two heads are better than one, and this track proves it. What a slick collaboration; tight, polished, and built on a groove that just wont quit. Its got that proper disco energy too, Kayos, the kind that makes you move without even thinking about it.

on Fire N Ice by Cyberflares
That intro is absolutely lit, man, and the bass hits in all the right ways. I spent a few weeks trying to learn mixing with Mixcraft, and honestly, it felt like going from riding a tricycle straight into the ##### of a jet, trying to figure out what every button does, haha. Seriously though, incredible work, Cyberflares...the effort and skill behind this track really shine through.

on Breathing In The Light MASTERIZADO by juankar
My little one is naturally very active. She was watching a cartoon, but this still drew her attention in...likely because of the beautiful vocals and drums. This is truly beautiful, Juankar.

Thanks for sharing, this mix is truly superb.

Hi Richard!

You have no idea what this comment means to me. I just woke up with a terrible migraine, and you've made my day. To hear that my song caught your little one's attention... it's incredible, because I think children are the purest beings there are; they're unconditioned, they're sincere.
Thank you so much for this joy.

And keep writing the lyrics you do with that rhythm you always bring to your songs; I'm sure they'll be a wonderful guide for your little one in life.
Best regards and admiration for your work.

on KEEP IT MOVING by kingmt77
The bass and sax are incredible, Mark, and the rhythm is crazy in the best way. I can imagine a lady in a red dress moving through the centre of it all, dancing samba with effortless flow, while the band in Spanish hats surrounds her, locked into the groove and playing like the whole night depends on it.

Greetings Richard. That's a great description for the situation here. Lively movement was what I had in mind. For this listen being a good one and the high marks you left is a great thing. Your stop in appreciated in a big way.

Peace,

Mark

on GUITAR HERO by AbnerB
It was a great journey listening to this wonderful piece, Abner. I was quite young when this kind of music was admired around the world, but I still remember those days... watching our older siblings play these tunes and quietly listening along. Pure calm and tranquillity. We used to wonder, What the heck is this what growing up is all about? Listening to slow jams and intertwined sounds while getting lost in thought?

Who would have thought that a time would come when we would truly fall in love with such music ourselves? Great work delivering this amazing waterfall of sound.

on By my Side - Odarka by juankar
Youve really got this style under control, Juankar. Theres so much passion and feeling running through the track, and knowing this is your first time putting a piece like this together makes it even more impressive. The way you knitted everything together feels natural and full of heart. Seriously amazing work.
juankar
juankar replied 8th May 2026 - 1 month ago
Hi Richard!
Your words are flattering, especially coming from a creator like yourself.
I've focused on this style because it's easier for me, and I like it. I think this first track was a beginner's luck; Odarka's voice inspired me, and I found a sample on Cymatics. I only added percussion, the other voice you hear, and a couple more instruments. But I'm happy just doing simple things like this and learning as I go. My biggest struggle is with effects, mixing, and mastering; it's very complicated for me. You have to dedicate a lot of time to understand it, and I don't have that kind of time, haha.
Best regards, Juan Carlos

on Jazz Waves ft Steve Bone and Ben Edwards by Cosmo
Loving the sax on this, Cosoms. I just listened to one of Kings pieces as well - you guys are really keeping it authentic, like the true OGs on Looperman. As for me, Im more of a click-and-drag, copy-and-paste kind of guy...no real experience with live instruments yet, and I dont see that changing anytime soon haha. This is a beautiful piece, truly.

Cosmo replied 8th May 2026 - 1 month ago
Richard, we need all kinds of music to lift us up. I listened to your track and commented. It's great and inspirational. Many, many years ago, I wrote a gospel song titled "Stand by the River". It was picked up and recorded by a local gospel group organized by a gentleman named Sam Fair. I remember that fondly. I write and produce all kinds of music. In the next few weeks, I will post a track on LM titled "The Kings of Russian Rap". About as different from jazz as it gets. Thank you for listening. I'll watch for your posts. Best to you, Cosmo

on NuGroove Featuring BaoBou Reimagined by kingmt77

kingmt77
kingmt77 replied 6th May 2026 - 1 month ago
Greetings Richard! Thank you for stopping by and sharing your impressions and compliments. I would beg to differ with you on not being able to "pull something off this refined and classy".

I had been on a long musical hiatus, like really long. Basically listening to the music of others but not doing any music of my own. I had foot surgery and recovery. You know "He makes me to lie down in green pastures". That's when the music became ALIVE again. So I would set aside time and started with my laptop and a MPK Mini with some loops and jumped in.

Practice is key. But most important keep ego out, and learn as much as you can from others. Ego will short circuit creativity. Ego will shine brightly but only for a brief moment. The musical gift we've been given when handled correctly and presented properly will shine brighter and longer. Heads up, There's a new sound being released. I sense it. Find your own sound within the new sound. Seek diligently for it, IT'S There. I wish I had time to go further on the subject. Long story short YOU CAN DO THIS AND MORE RICHARD!

Peace,

Mark

Man, this is power-FULL. You guys always pull off killer moves - never see it coming. Just when it feels like youve played your hand, you switch it up and deliver something even bigger. Every time I think thats it, you drop another round of surprises.

Thank you Richard! I think we have a few more tricks up our sleeves. Our philosophy is that music should be the last thing in the world that is divisive. All of the members of this group have experience in different types of music, I think that shines through all of our work

on Insidious - The Monzder Squadd by TheMonzderSquadd
The intro sets a solid tone, and the flow is tight. The transition between rappers was smooth. Then out of nowhere at 2:23 - the beast drops. Serious Equalizer 2000 meets Mad Max: Fury Road vibes.

Breathtaking - truly, another remarkable and deeply moving piece, Glenn. Theres something profoundly sincere and uplifting in the way you shape your music; it carries a sense of purity thats hard to miss. It feels as though every note is an extension of who you are.
You have a genuinely beautiful soul, and it shines clearly through your tunes, touching the heart in a way words often cannot.

Hello RichardShekari, of course Im appreciative of your kind thoughts....I can only say I play the guitar in my own way.....outside im sure of a lot of commonly used structures of playing but inside enough of those same structures to put together the type of necessary rhythms and feels needed to make the music you hear.....and the whole time playing what I feel the music is demanding of me to play to express....a different guitar player? Absolutely......just like every living soul is different, but meaningful hopefully to some, and that's enough for me.....sorry to babble my friend. Again thank you for everything.

Hey bro, great job on the beat. Ive wrapped up recording for that track...should have it over to you by tomorrow afternoon. I tried several times to message you on Looperman, but I kept getting this error:
There was a problem. Check the form for errors.

Please send me your email address via Instagram when you see this.

I just got it. The Kentucky Derby was today, and it basically happens right next door, so I was out enjoying the gathering. The LMPD were doing a choreographed dance to Gin n juice as they directed traffic, and I think that explains the mood of my city today better than anything. It was awesome. Thank you for your contribution brother

Hey, Glenn.
I was actually discussing your music with Morgan @Paperkut the other day, and I think your tracks really deserve to be studied. I honestly think he should make you his Shifu, because his work almost follows a similar pattern to yours, not because theres any direct influence, but because your approach and craftsmanship stand strong enough on their own to be studied and appreciated.

Hello RichardS, thanks for the listen of course and the comments my friend....I'll say this bro I listen to such a wide array of music and like so many different styles and genres I find myself trying to fit my playing style between it all and it works generally but keeping it simple when possible and sticking to as few notes as possible allow more room to express and let some of the music speak while I improv around it.....I was always told to keep it simple....try not to over play your thoughts, theres no time for to much thinking when improvising anyway so express and move forward.....sorry about the thousand words here.....again thank you bro.

on 8 Billion Doves by Kayos2
Fun-filled from start to finish, your unique voice carries the listener on such an uplifting and immersive journey, no ecstasy needed, Kayo :)

Theres a natural high in the way you deliver every line in this song, and it feels effortless yet intentional at the same time. I can genuinely tell you had a great time recording this one; that joy comes through so clearly and makes it even more enjoyable to listen to. Its the kind of track that pulls you in, lifts your spirit, and keeps you riding along without wanting it to end. And honestly, bringing this kind of vision youve painted, one filled with light, freedom, and peace, into the world right now would be something truly special.

We need more sounds like this, more moments like this, more reminders like this.

Thank you so much for your comment; it encourages me to keep trying. Right now I'm a bit stuck because for these first three songs I only worried about adjusting volumes and trying out some effects I'd downloaded. But thanks to the great advice I've received here, I've realized I have a lot to learn about mixing and especially mastering, which I've never done before. I've spent a couple of weeks watching videos about which plugins I need and how to use them, and honestly... I'm still confused; it's too complex for me.

Cheers
