Interesting, inventive track. Enough modulation to go around for sure. Cool little sax line in there.

Another very enjoyable track from you, my friend. I enjoyed the laid back, realxing atmosphere of this one.

really digging the sounds, transformations, and arrangement - much respect.
'cause i'm a knucklehead i would add some additional light treatments to the shaker/perc to give em a more embedded sound - but i do love as is.

Hi, Thank you for your review. I don't think you are a knucklehead. I instead appreciate your comment on perc sounds

This does'nt sound like two pieces at all! Just goes to show - sometimes unintentional things just work out right! The guitar reminds me of the start of Fleetwood Mac's "Albatross". Nice one.

Yup Albatross came to my mind also. Mere Through water can be played here: http://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/2990

I really like the dark industrial sounds embedded in the percussion track. Very moody - it would be interesting to hear this extended. Top job!

on wait feat LisMarie by TheseMetalDays
A very relaxing chilled out piece. The free floating vocals are quite a nice touch.

You set the tone nicely in this track, ambient for sure. That high pitched sound was different, sounded like a dolphin under water, ha! Glad you reworked this, it's cool, interesting and different!

I like the way this builds. It gets rich in texture without being too much. Are these found sounds or do you build your own?
TheseMetalDays
TheseMetalDays replied Unknown
Most of the sounds are made with KoanPro, slapbass is a soundfont.

Beautiful soundscape! I had to look up the word verdure, but now your description makes sense...haha. This really does put visions in my head of greenery and gently swaying trees. I like the simplicity of the track, it really makes one use their imagination. Really nice work!
TheseMetalDays
TheseMetalDays replied Unknown
Actually the word 'verdure' is taken from the collection of poems by Paavo Haavikko. This collection is titled 'puut ja kaikki heidän vehreytensä'. The word 'vehreytensä' is translated in english version of the book as 'verdure'

I really like the way yr synth theme floats thru that minimal rhythm bed and the way the track develops. I think this music reflects yr intentions as stated quite beautifully.

I enjoyed the subtle build up. Mixed well. Electronic vision of trees...I like it. The panning is cool, also I like that slab bass sound.
TheseMetalDays

I'm glad that you thought the panning is cool. Someone has told me he was annoyed about it.

Really nice piece. I'm surprised u did'nt get more reviews but maybe most people don't get minimal styles? On certain days I could listen to stuff like this all day long. Good job.

Cool remix! I like the choice of sounds in this mix, especially that simple bass patch. Very straightforward mix. I would think disco would be a bit more driven, but this really seems to work!
