This song creates alot of tension, this devise gives music that suspense feeling or sinister vibe. I love this track, it would be perfect in a thriller or horror film, so for that reason I personally would place it in that genre, cheers Slap...
Like that bass, synth type / sawtooth bass, a tip for ya, take that same midi notes for that and create another subtractor and copy those same notes and drop it on the new subtractor loaded with the sub patch, your sound will defo sound full. But I lke this and even those bongos comming in.
Chemical brothers influence perhaps??? The strings sounds out of pitch with each other, I dont know it does nothing for me IMO.The beat / groove progress well in and out and making it slower for that two bars sounds great!!! 6/10 IMO.
amazing drums i like the agressive style in this track and the breaks and if this is really you,re first track you created then i would say in one line this is a great track and keep it up coming dude
Of the things in that movie that made me question the most was Amos's character's leaving those paper birds lying around. What did it hint at? What did it symbolize??
Pretty sweet vocal sample there and I love the intro synth. Somewhat old skool, but timeless none-the-less.
I Love the drive of this.. I'm not certain how to explain this, felt the distorted drive track could have had a little more bottom end to it. Somewhere between the Drums and the higher synth parts. Just something to give it a little more balls. I tried listening to this at different volume levels. I'm still trying to get a better feel on making better mixes myself, I do know that what I hear before doing a mix down and after is somewhat different. I'm having to make things a little hotter (more bite) on tracks before mix down. Everything seems to get smoothed out. Perhaps that is what is going on with you? Musically, I really enjoyed this.
