Thank you, so nice music, the rhythm is bright and brisk, and not monotonous.

Twelve bronze and burnished wood idols dance their crazy ritual around glowing green flames in a clearing in the middle of the forest of black knives swaying to the rhythm of supernatural drums. This and other fantastic images come to my mind listening to this amazing song. Sounds just perfect. Best wishes

Interesting track, I really liked the intermission, it kept me guessing and had a lot of variety to it.

Suuuuuuuuuuure they can.
I wrote a song about it. :-)
This is really good.
So lively.
I REALLY love the jungle feel!
All the places this took,
and good thoughts I had.
Reminds me of an old tv show
Miami Vice. :-)
It's overall a great track.

Miami Vice, lol, now you are dating me in a time zone eh?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHiHqEFkUkU
My Influential band, and a throw-away (Flesh & Blood Album) song they gave to Miami Vice.
And Angels... (sigh I´m not going to get into it... let's just leave it as it is, as an awesome muse for artists)
BTW, I do remember your song... The Alzheimers has not hit me yet...

Wow, what an awesome track you have here! It was like a mini vacation for my brain! I closed my eyes and you took me places. Everything is top notch as far as I'm concerned...mix, arrangement, intro, use of sounds, transitions, musical ups and downs... it has everything! Great job with this man! Thanks for sharing.

A long Island ice tea, a pot of gumbo if you will. Experimentation is what keeps music interesting, good job on this.

Cool mate, now I want a bowl of gumbo and to wash it down with a Long Island (where I was born from) Iced Tea. Unfortunately, neither will be happening today.

Hi Steve,

I have been away for a little while, so what a treat to pop in and hear this masterpiece by you, SMASHING! work. I agree with the title Angels can't cry, they are said to be beings with greater power and ability, their level of existence would be on a much higher level than the physical level we humans are on, i doubt they do. Anyways back to the track. This beat is super duper groovy!! as i have said before your work brings a smile to my face. Seriously, you are one of the best! producers of some of the best! music. Another AMAZING!! musical journey and it's a keeper. You keep raising that bar higher and higher and it's a real pleasure listening to your music Bravo!!

Welcome back. I´m not the most spiritual person as I am more of a rationalist. I am very aware though of all the major religions and the mythical apparatus that accompanies this. The name of this tune is an homage to Rhys Chatham, who is a Post-Minimalist composer who made this amazing suite called an Angel Moves to Fast Too See.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUKF_K3vNeE&;t=836s
To me, Angels are just a construct of people's wishes for a better and more just existence With the aid of a higher power guiding them. Coincidently this song clocks in at exactly 4mins and 44 seconds, which would be according to Hebrew and Christian numerology is of the Numbers of Angels and Creation. (4:44). So who knows... I did not do that on purpose (cue the spooky music) and The human subconscious is too vast and difficult to ascertain in its entirety to expound on an explanation. Thank you for acknowledging my increasing proficiency in the engineering side of the music. As always my sincerest thanks for gracing my music with your warm and gentle comments, it is always welcome here in Canada!

Hey Steve! Man I've been away from the clubhouse a while! Since being in lockdown here in the states I've had some time to record and check out Looperman. I know I've probably missed a ton of great tracks so I have to try and catch up some. This is a groovy piece man, from start to finish. Love that percussion track and of course that tasty cacophony of music. Your skill set is amazing and truly shines through on this track.

Cru, your the best at this genre. Drum works is awesome. Acid works gives me chills. Always been fascinated with synth sounds. So much put in. Flows perfect. Cool outro

Thanks, Mate. I look at what you do, and you are so persistent and making new music, and giving us the raw sounds of your endeavors. I so appreciate that you do that. that's what will make you better and improve, and not sound like I am slagging you off because what you do produce is so good and charming and so good mate, there is so much incredible potential in what you do. But your words to me sound like they are from the heart and an immediate emotional response. I can only humbly thank you for listening to my music and taking the time to comment on what I do. I knew this one worked after I made it, but seriously going into it I did not know what direction it would have taken. And as any artist knows, you have no idea how other people will listen, take in, and understand what you have just produced. I love the enthusiasm you have for music and other people's works, and I wish you nothing but success in your art.

Truly super song, Krautrock has something deeply in the arrangement. Brilliant compositional solutions make it very interesting and often unexpected to listen. The choice of sounds and their superposition is optimal. Florian Schneider would have loved it. Best wishes and see you soon Marco
crucethus
crucethus replied 24th May 2020 - 5 years ago
Marco, my friend. Thank you for the nice props. You are correct there is a sort of Krautian order in this composition that has so much diversity in sound and form. This exploration into acid-house which is a 30-year-old genre that kind of formed modern EDM as we know it has been such a trip for me to execute in many different ways. I have tried to explore all aspects of the sound from complete synth to sort of real instruments as a basis for the song. I have my album locked and loaded except for the intro which needs some improvement. The process is so much fun to execute and I appreciate those who took the time to comment on what they heard from an emotional and intellectual level. You all on Looperman are dear to me and hold a special place in my heart and I appreciate that you even take the time to listen to my art and give me critique and equally praise. many many thanks! This tune is the culmination of all that work.
I miei più sentiti ringraziamenti!

Oh yeah, thats some groovy acid with those squelchy 303s, good work!
crucethus
crucethus replied 23rd May 2020 - 5 years ago
No 303´s were harmed in the making of this one mate. This was a progressive look at what Acid could become with the right VST´s, and a bit of creativity. It´s the most modern of the 10 tracks I have for my Acid-album.
Thanks for the comments.
