Hey groovy track you did here! Definitely sounds pretty old school as far as reggae goes. Good sounding vocals, and the mix is good too. People already mentioned the volume, but I do like a song that forces me to turn it up myself. Killer song! Fave!

VERY good - actually cleaner and better than the original to my ears. I think it could use a musical bridge somewhere to showcase the Reggae but that is a quibble. Extremely well produced- good job.

I don't understand if you think that my music is ridiculous or if you think that the use of Amy's acapella and giving her cred is ridiculous? Na I don't think that I am abusing her name in anyway here, I didn't put it up for downloading. You know that if you want to do a remix or whatever on a great artists work you can just email the recordlabel and ask for the acapella you need and in some cases you'll get it. And that's how it works. I'm glad that you took the time to listen to my track and finding it very ridiculous.
Peter....you must be the only guy around here thats played with Amy Winehouse...this is cool...and the raggae thing really works (its not a genre I`ve tried yet...but I guess there are a lot of others too)....much resect for what you do here...I am just no dam good at composing to acapellas myself...very nicely done...and lots of room to add to this one if you decide you want to...Ed
don't know the original but seems you are off to a great start with this arrangement. how do you extract Amy's vocal so purely without the original accompaniment? or am I totally confused about what you are doing here. look forward to checking out more of your work. all the best.
Hi Midi.. Thanks for your comment. Well Amy's vocal is a studio acapella and I found it on youtube. And then I wrote this arrangement. The original track got a nice swing to it but mine is totally different from that.

I haven't listened to reggae stuff for a long time now, so this certainly brings memories back and it's so incredibly reminiscent of UB40...thx for sharing!:)
WOW - this would have been a number 1 hit in 1962. Incredibly well mixed. The guitar solo at the end works for 1968 and actually works if the genre is more referential. Loved it - well done - a hit!
