Good work here. The vocals fit in the mix nicely. The instrumental is very catchy. Good luck on your continue music education; you're doing really good!!!
Thanks for the comment. Right now, I'm finding it really hard to come up with ideas for compositions, so I need a voice to inspire me to set it to musicin this case, Odarka's wonderful voice. I hope that with time I'll be able to create on my own.
Hello juankar, I thoroughly enjoyed this deep house track you've put together....Odarka's vocals are excellent as usual but the music you put together is a perfect fit for those vocals and really powers this effort....its really good.
This is great again. Again i tell you that i think you will learn the mastering fast. This is your second track and see how good it sounds.
I wish i could let my beats sound like proffesional but after 6 years i still cant.
I'm glad you like it! I personally prefer the first one, but this is just for learning. But don't say you can't get it after six years; I just listened to "Games Begun" and it's really good.
Oh yeah, this is spot on!! Takes me straight back to the 90's! Yeah, vocals can be a real pain to deal with at times. I still struggle with the same issues you do while trying to master the DAW I use, Abelton Live 11 Lite. You're on the right path here, keep plugging along, even when you get so frustrated and on the verge of exploding. Might take a while, but working knowledge doesn't come in one day. Work at your pace, and you'll get there! The track is excellent, strong work! PS: +1 for Analog Lab V, so much stuff to work with!
Thank you so much for your comments. The '90s were one of the best eras for music, in my opinion. I'm still learning little by little, and Analog Lab V really does have some great sounds that sometimes make things easier. I also really like the Podolski VST.
Wow, great beat that fits the vocals perfectly, you've done fantastic work again :) Keep it up...
I've been using Reaper since 2024 and have never felt the need to switch DAW.
Thank you so much. Any DAW seems complicated to me, haha, but I found a lot of video tutorials for Reaper on YouTube, so I decided to learn with it. I'm going to listen to some of your music.
Thank you so much. These comments encourage me to keep learning, even if it's just simple things like this, with 7 or 8 tracks in the DAW at most. They help me learn how to structure a song, equalize, and master.
Im also 61 and in 2020 i start to learn how to make beats on Fl studio. It took a long time to remember where all the plugins are and what i can do with them.(and all the time i forget lol ) I diddnt do any mastering because i diddnt know how.Never in my life i didd something with music before .
Im not that good in making beats but i can make them without using loops. If i listen to your beat im sure you will be much faster then me. Learn how your daw is working and watch youtube videos to learn more.
I've been watching YouTube videos for about two months now to learn how to use Reaper and how to create a musical structure, and now I've finally dared to create something, based on a vocal track (Odarka). I've taken another vocal track from Odarka and I've almost finished the song, but the equalization and everything else is giving me a real headache, haha. I'll put it in today and upload it tomorrow, although I don't think it will be as good as this one.
Thank you so much. Odarka's voice does everything in the song; for me, the voice is very important, and yours is beautiful. I still have a lot to learn, especially about mastering and equalization, which I know absolutely nothing about, haha.
Thank you for your kind words, but if it sounds so beautiful, it's thanks to Odarka. I've listened to what you do and I think it's beautiful, a super clean sound and a special charm.
Thank you so much for your comments. I think it was beginner's luck, haha. I've been trying to create another Odarka song for a few days now, and I just can't seem to get it right. I'm too embarrassed to post it.
if this is ur first track then you might be a prodigy haha. most peoples first tracks are god awful. well done and hope your music journey is enjoyable!
Thank you so much. At my age, I just want to entertain myself with something I've always enjoyed but never learned, and now I can dedicate time to it. I wouldn't have uploaded the song if it weren't necessary to thank Odarka for this initial inspiration and to let her know I used her voice.
Hello juankar, this is really good my friend, Odarka 's vocal are superb as always and your music is a great fit for this first effort?.....hard to believe, its a great first effort.
Thank you so much for your kind words, but as I already explained to AbnerB, all the credit goes to Odarka and a free loop I found. I contributed very little of my own work. But I'm currently working on another Odarka track where the rest is entirely my own.
Thank you.
With a voice like that, anything sounds good, credit to Odarka.
I heard your first song in 2024, and it's amazing how creative you are to create something like this. Congratulations!
MY FIRST TRACK WAS RECORDED IN A RADIO TAPE PLAYER ! and it was ruff '' great job, song and vocals. Don't rush your self you will learn more than you think, just keep making music and that will open more doors and ideas.
Thank you so much for your kind words, but all the credit goes to Odarka's voice and the loop I found in a free pack; I added very little else. I hope to continue learning on sites like this so I can create everything myself and add music to voices as amazing as this one.
