This kinda reminds me more of something under the Dream- ___ classification. And would be perfect for something like Bubble Bubble or some Mario spin off as is.

As for grime, I've heard about it, but was always under the impression that it was only a term used to describe an MC's style of flow on any given track (perhaps there are instrumentals that would befit an MC whose prone to using grimy lyrics).

Anywho, I think it's awesome that ya remade this song because the original was pretty choice. Kind of an interesting spin on a pop/R&B classic. Nicely, done. Lates!

Take this with a grain of salt... This sounds great as a start, maybe widen out the drums and mix your synthetic drums with some good ol' fashioned drum kit samples?

I like this , the bleeps,the bloops,the proper snare sounds nice and the pad takes me away I like the gamey 8bit feel to it to. Just need a proper bassline there all I here is the lead synth, but I real good vibe . ME LIKE!

Listening now,bass is huge, to huge, cut back on some of the frequencies between 300 to 800hz,this will make your kick cut through the mix properly. It sounds defo out of the ordinary and you might be on to something here.
