Thank you srbrown7. Glad you like it. Loops make for a good source of music if one can't play regular instruments. However, I am inclined to believe that my laptop keyboard is or has become a regular instrument. LOL Thanks for the review.
Thanks MStokes. The Wife and I had our anniversary on the 21st of February. We were shooting for Valentines day but things just wouldn't work out for us so we got murdered, sorry, married on the 21st. I put this together for her for the Anniversary.
Glad you like it. She loved it. LOL
Thanks Spivkurl. Sometimes just using a loop in its original form just doesn't cut the sound one is listening for so the filters and other such vst plugins come into play. Love em.
So glad you like this one.
The Wife Loved it. LOL
Yeah it has been a while supe. Still doing the mix thing with the loops though. This one took a month to get right mainly due to computer (laptop) issues. Finally got things to working right now. Thanks for the comment and good to hear from you again.
Thank you again Devo. I still love sitting and listening to this one. One of my favorites as well. Other folks who've listened to it thinks I played the piano. I have to keep telling them its all done with loops. I also tell them who's loops they are and invite them to join us on mixposure or here. No smoke and mirrors just loops stitched together like a finely stitched quilt. Each piece lovingly placed and purposely stitched in just the right place to show off what the piece has.
I have an ear for what I hear.
I thought I commented on all of your songs here using my loops, but here is yet another one...... and I don't recall hearing this version either, so apologies are in order from me for not coming by sooner. Once again, there's that lush, full mix of loops you compose so well with. Nice cinematic projection from this one.
Thank you Devo. I sorta gave up on you. You used to talk to me all the time. I know your busy and real life goes without saying. Nice to hear from you. This piece was put together around the walking you hear at the beginning. It is Sean Young as Rachael walking across the floor just before she said, Do you like our Owl, in Blade Runner when Deckard (Harrison Ford) was sent to the Tyrel Coporation to test her on the machine. Then I found the robotic voice that clearly states Dance with me and coupled with some good loops I put this one together and it really depicts Rachael's last days with Deckard as her time ends. Sad but beautiful in stance and dance. Thanks Devo.
Wow! You have such a nice songwriting ability using loops. This is no easy feat. The way you stitch a composition together is mind boggling to me. Such creative flow. Thanks once agian for including me in your wonderful creations.
You sir, have such nice loops it would be a shame to download them and not use them. They are good enough to use by themselves, However, No musical talent here for the instrument side of the tuneage, however I do know what would accentuate this or that while listening to the whole stitching process. I've an ear for what I can hear.
that big reverby piano sure does the dreamy part Mr.P and the drums definitely fulfil the jumpy role...quite an unusual mix of sounds but I thinkthe biggest contrast likely comes from the drum mix....different is good...well done.....Ed
Usually my phone will alert me when I get stuff like this. It didn't this time or I didn't hear it. Sorry for the late response. Thank you and I am very glad you liked it. My mom says it's my best one yet. I kinda like to think maybe yeah, but I like Forever Friends the most due to some of the way I used my techniques in the breaks and bridges.
You are welcome Niclas. I love loop surfing and am very picky about which loops to use. I am after a particular sound and when I find it I use it. Wonderful loops can be arranged into Great compositions. Loops like yours make loop stitching a fun thing to do.
You got the blade runner feel as well eh? I had to go and watch blade runner again, 75th time, after making this one.
Had fun making it as it was a challenge. I've got semitones going on here and a couple of the loops had to be stretched, volume lowered, and reverbed out the wazoo to get them to work together. The tones are finely tuned on this one and there's lots of action going on through out the piece.
Thank you danbo. I had a really hard time with this one and it turned out much better than I'd hoped. Got goosebumps listening to the final conversion.
Thanks Billydragon1. Had a dickens of a time getting some of these loops to work. Got them to work by experimenting with them through various attributes but in the end the slid together like to well oiled gears. Then the drums, wow, wound up having to use four different drum loops just to get the right sound out of them. Got it though. LOL. Had fun making it. Got chills when I listened to the final conversion.
Thank you. I am very proud of this one. It was my first looperman tuneage with downloaded loops from here. Stitching can be a b....um...it's tough at times. It is theraputic for me though as I really do this for relaxation.
Man, I love it! It reminds me of the times I created each loop in the past year.
I tried to put together a song with the "moon" set I made, it was nowhere close to this good!
Also, you did a nice job with the mastering, I know it can be pretty tricky at times.
I think Ill post a link to this track on the loops so people can get a good idea how to use them.
Oh wow. Thanks Cufool. I am more than honored by this. I really am especially proud of this tuneage because it, well, it's the most downloaded song I've compiled since being on Looperman and you sir Cufool have some awesome loops in here. I mean each one by itself just, well are really good, and when combined to accent the other, Moon Song just seemed to be the correct way to sound. I mean it's like a combination lock so to speak, it took the right twists, turns, and whala..here ya go. Link it all you want. It is primarily yours to begin with. I was just glad to be able to whittle the figure out of the wood.
Hey ! I retrieve you here. Following your reply in an other post, I permit to listen to your musics. So, I see you have a good line of creations. That's nice. It's interesting to have a look at the different musics of you. Most of them are well balanced and contain harmonious phrases.
Thanks
Hey! When I write "closed" I mean that you've built your composition as I did in a piece of mine, even if the two musics are different. I never wrote that it's a copy, only the idea of the construction is closed. See my piece which name is : https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/71803
But be sure, you did a good one.
Soon
No worries on the copy remark I made. I didn't mean it to sound that way. I have listened to Somewhere In No Man's Land and hear the similarities. The two distinct styles are awesome because there are at least two loops we have both used in different ways. Wow.
I am glad you like this muzik I put together and I like your's as well.
Greetings danbo. Which one is this close to? This is an orignal compilation. I don't copy others work. let me hear the one you are describing to see the similarities. Name it and I'll go listen. I am interested.
Thank you kindly Billy. This was a fun piece to put together and my mom always comes through with good names. Her secret is to listen and then tell me what came to her mind while listening to the song. She's quite good ya know. LOL.
It did have a Miami Vice feel but more so toward the cleaner, good ole days.
I actually had this done on my pc as funky jazz but couldn't find the style here. I'll change it later. Thanks for the comment though. I really had a fun time putting this one together after getting my conversion issue resolved. This one took about a week to get right then I had to send it to my mother to help name it due to listening to it over and over I couldn't name it myself.
I enjoyed this track. Everything just blended and found their spaces in there. Reminded me of the American Indians and their ancient knowledge passed down from the Great Flood of Noah of the Creator "Yahweh". Awesome work man.
Thank you Billy. I am three quarter Cherokee, hence the Cherokee name. I actually had fun making this one. Blending the piano loop with the flute loop was a real challenge. I had to break up the piano loop and wound up getting three distinct licks from one loop and then broke the flute loop so that it would blend with the ends of each piano lick. I then stitched them all back together, added a little percussion, stirred in a cup of imagination and whala..
