Hello PaperKup, thoroughly enjoyed this cinematic piece, very well done spoken narratives, natural effects and environmental and background music and sounds.....this is good stuff my friend.

You're usually able to create incredible cinematic atmospheres with just your sounds.

But this is on another level! Hearing what you usually do combined with a narrative like this results in an incredible experience.
Of course, Richard's sound design is the icing on the cake.
The only thing I didn't understand was that silence at the end, about 10 seconds, followed by a final line.
I've downloaded it to enjoy it at my leisure.
Fantastic work.
Best regards, Juan Carlos

Hi juankar, yes, the end part was not intentional. Thanks for letting us know. So so busy these days. I'll leave it for now and return to take it off later, I just uploaded and want to add some comments to tracks. Thanks for your comment, glad you had time to listen to the full track and the download!

I still think you have an incredible knack for creating cinematic atmospheres. Richard's mixing is perfect as always. And I agree with TheMonzderSquadd; there are great films that wouldn't be the same without their soundtracks. What you do with music is incredibly important in setting the mood for a situation. I'd love for you to accept TheMonzderSquadd's offer to listen to something you two have created together someday; I predict it would be amazing.

Best regards, Juan Carlos

Hi juankar, thanks, I'm trying - and will continue to keep trying. Richard is fab at doing what he does, I am very grateful! You're probably pleased to know I have accepted to collab. I look forward to it.

Hello, PaperKup. How goes it all the way over in Austria? Ive liked your cinematic stuff, you have a inique approach, and I like the vibes you create. The only thing I can think of is a personal preference - I want to hear some more strings in these pieces. There are some, but I would personally go two octaves higher AND lower and add those strings in. The low frequency strings can bring a degree of anxiety or doom, but can easily segue into an epic or heroic theme. The highs accent the lows, of course, and also bring a sense of imminent good or bad, depending on the chords being used, and many other feelings. Cinematic works aren't just visually oriented songs, they're meant to make us feel something, and in a big way - that's why Those Huge epic Movie Scores for stuff like Star Wars or indiana jones is held in just as high a regard as the movie itself. The music is half the experience. You have a keen understanding of the type of music you like to create. Something that I think would be cool to do is the kind of brainstorm idea for a huge action movie like the ones I mentioned , and then once you have a good plot and characters and all that in mind, compose a score for it. The potential is there for something fun and a little different. If if the mood ever strikes you to try something similar to what I've suggested.Let me know.I think it would be cool to help out with something like that. Anyway, Im glad you're creating this type of music, I dont see it as often as I would like. Keep up the great work, dude

Hi TheMonzderSquadd, I am not sure how to approach an answer to this... I mean it is pretty loaded haha. Thanks for taking the time to type it out. I'm okay. I'll pronounce the strings more in my next tracks. So thanks for that. It's noted.
Please let me know in which way you would like to help out. I like the idea what you have suggested and I can work to it. Just send a message on here on LM if you are able to work on something with me. I'm open to collaborations

great work guys, thumping beat and atmosphere, great plucks and synth work there is plenty happening in the background too it has an oriental vibe in places but there is some dark foreboding moments i like the effect of the music when it sounds like its coming thro pipes, I also like the fret like skims creative work boys

Good morning. I dont have much time to listen to tracks on LM every day. I checked your pieces and this one here is cinematic, Id say with a tense atmosphere, and it easily creates an image or a film-like scene in the listeners mind. I really liked it. I would just be a bit less soft in the mix. Richard will understand, Regards, Chris - LINEAR FADE

Hi LINEARFADE, thanks and noted. I am the same though regarding time etc... it is a shame at times because you can miss out as well on some great tracks! I will let Richard know about the mix on this track and probably update soon.

I'm still impressed by how you're able to create images with sound. A rainy day is perfectly visualized, with traffic, a door opening and possibly leading to a basketball court, where you can hear the ambient noise and the squeak of sneakers as people run across the court. And this entire sequence is accompanied by the instrumental sound of strings. Great work.

Hi juankar, thanks but the images are mostly from Richard S and I had the idea of basketball with this one. Thanks. Glad you liked it!

It is a truly beautiful piece of music that keeps the listener engaged from start to finish, with earthy elements woven throughout. It's not just the audio effects; it's the way the instruments and vocals blend, the melodies and harmonies coming together. I genuinely enjoyed this song.

This is really good. There's a great atmosphere to the whole track and I love the sound affects throughout, which definitely contribute to that atmosphere. The music conjours up a real feeling of sorrow and I could totally imagine hearing this in a movie. I really like this track.
PaperKup
PaperKup replied 24th May 2026 - 1 month ago
Hi BullittVolante, thanks. Glad it could fit in a movie or something like that. The sorrow wasn't really intentional. It comes through though I guess. I blame the violin! Next track should be a bit more happy, no promises though... Thanks for your listen and comment!

I admire how you can create such vivid images in our minds with music.
The sound quality is excellent.
Richard is proving himself to be a mixing expert.
You blew me away with your explanation of how you achieved the sound I mentioned in the previous song.
Congratulations to you both.
Best regards, Juan Carlos

Hi juankar, thanks, the purpose of some of these tracks are to do exactly that. Thanks about sound quality, Richard S does a huge difference on the tracks every time.
About the previous track - also thanks. I am glad. If that can help to inspire etc. then it's a bonus really. Thanks for your comments, they are much appreciated! Hope you can get a real singer instead of the AI somewhere out there, if that's what you want?!

nice remix bruv, just listened and commented on the original which is a great track, i can see the little differences you have brought, the guitars are a great add, so my comments on that track are relevant here too, you have handled it gently and not totally turned it on its head but just added another layer of niceness, nice work PaperKup

Hi dimestop, that was very well put and I'm glad it turned out the way it did in the end. Yeah, I didn't intend the guitar to steal the show, just played alongside, ticking over. Really enjoyed it!
