This is a cool recording, I love it when it's spontaneous. Your bottleneck playing is good and conveys the right blues feeling. I'll listen to your tracks once your fingernails are back! just a joke, I'm sure your other tracks are good too. Thanks for sharing.
I think there's some great ideas in there. To me it needs the bass a little more up front to anchor it or else periods with a more steady drum beat. Plus I felt like I was waiting for the drop after the intro that didn't quite come. But there's some beautiful dynamics in there and I like the track. I'll be interested to see how it devellops. Whew I don't generally critique to that level, I must like the track!
love the way it is built (the accoustic guitar, the drum, the voice). Great track really, we can feel you had fun to put it all together with your drumming pal!
A nice loose blues feeling. You could potentially tighten it up a bit (and maybe speed it up, ZZ Top style?) but this is already very pleasant and a great jam!
Wow this is so darned coooool - love that country blues twanging - BTW- nail biting can be a sign of a mineral defficiency lol (sorry, sometimes my day job bleeds in here)! Kay0s
I smiled when I heard this - it sounds a bit psychedelic. I found myself imagining that you could smell the eucalyptus as you swang - that would make it a very heady experience indeed! The lyric 'But You Lord still stand true, I still can put all my trust in You' is genuis. If you think about how we get swept up and blown about by life, just like you in that tree, that lyric is even more potent. Christmas wishes to you Kay & Oli
You are so cool to check this out and you really felt what I was feeling with the smell of eucalyptus all by myself me against the world at the top of that tree. Merry Christmas Kay & Oli
Hi there, great rock song! Wonderful vocal and band performance. The guitar solo was excellent. It reminds me a bit of the Stones. Very well done!
Best regards,
Manuela
I can certainly understand the thought and intention of a song like this, Ive
done my fair share of them. My old lady cant handle it if i go too long without composing something for here these days, and this has given me an idea for that. Thank u for that, and well done, as well.
So stoked you like it K, I wrote this song years ago. It was nice having my buddy John Deobke playing drums on this. We used to be in a band together years ago called The Shreddin Eddies. Thanks for listening Kayos!
What a great groovy and flow with a huge and tasty, moody guitar play!!!
Though from the middle there is some slide, maybe in the acoustic guitar???
Perhaps, I'm wrong, if yes, I'm sorry ...
fistbump,

nice track John, great guitar, vocals are always on point as is the playing, you know i'm not a religious soul but today, i offered up a prayer to the fallen dead, its remembrance Sunday, lest we forget, we all want peace, will we ever get it, i very much doubt, i know what to expect when i press play, i listen because you always bring positive, i dont need to be religious to enjoy your work, well done again brother
Greetings, Although iam not much of a religeous person myself. But i do have a sense, when a track is good or not. And thats what iam here for. It was pleasant to listen to none the less. And the acoustic play i did do enjoy. So yeah a solid track and still well done. Verdi
Hi JohnM....another good strong message about faith and devotion to the true power. It's a good reminder and a necessary one.....good vocals and acoustic guitar.

(my own experience is that I usually get a shrug at best :D and in one case she got teary-eyed over entirely the wrong song :D :D )
Good job!
