Man that big fat bass is very reminiscent of M83 and a few other alt bands I've heard.. It creates such an emotion by itself.. Great mix.. You managed to get the vox up on top and sitting just beautifully in it.. it's like a big blanket wrapped in warm mellow.
Hi man.
You did a great job of mixing your music with the vocals to elevate the song. It has a sweet, magical appeal to it. The earnest emotions in the vocals stop it from becoming too sickly sweet. It's still genuine. Awesome work. Thanks for sharing.
Sometimes I forget we here at looperman are all human, that we are real people who have feelings, emotions and lives, it's so easy to forget because of this thing called a computer. :-)
Well, from a vocalist standpoint great vocals from BabyGee. You have wrapped them in a warm and inviting muzical atmoshere!!! Great job.
The vocals are a bit over processed i think, maybe too much effects? One other thing i might try is to lower the compression or limiter on the master channel a tiny bit. This will make the instruments stand out a little more in the mix by cutting a bit of the overall loudness of each of the instruments in the track and with some adjustments, make the vocals stand out a little more too.
The track is put together very well, the vocal track works so well with the musical composition. Keep up the good work!
Vocals: removed some annoying noises throughtout, furtherly noise reduction filtered, then, after trying lots of unsatisfying compression ratios, manually compressed. Last, add a reverb. I keep the general volume quite low, to keep the delicate performance of BabyGee, play it louder didn't seem consistent with the depth of the lyrics in my ears.
Instrumentals: i was inspired by "Viaggia insieme a me" by Eiffel 65 ("Follow me" english version) released in 2003. Has the same pop feeling but the drums and the bass are a bit pumped up (because they came from dance music).
I mix/mast using the I.Pod earphones, that has a masterful quality sound... clearly the final mix sounds very good, in relation of a 2009 netbook power. Maybe using a different pc and different earphones it sounds different too... who can tell? :D
I really appreciate the attempt to write in Italian. "Multi" is wrong, "Molto" is right. But Multi Bella sounds good, i can use this as title for a song :D
Hi, Nicolo! You did a really good job on this track. I read your comment about all the work you did on the vocal. That sounds very familiar to me. Getting vocals cleaned up and sitting right in the mix can take a lot of work. Your arrangement/instrumentation was really nice. I think it fit the vocals very well. Chord progressions were very good.
I guess you've now properly translated nglaichan's comment. "Terrific" originally meant "frightening", but the meaning changed over time to mean "excellent". He was telling you that it was a really good track! And, I agree. :)
This is very, very cool...I felt that I'm on an Eurovision contest at around 1985...could be the winner song from the Italian side...:-)
never thought that someone could make stg like this with Baby's acapella...but i might not have thought that Baby can sing 80's of pops for years ...:-)
all in all, enjoyable productions at all levels and nothing wrong with that intro of course ...
Thank you very much, really appreciated! I'm glad you like it. To be true, i was inspired by a 2003 released song :) I must however recognize how, the final result, is much more '80s than I thought!
hello there only thing is there are a error in the intro part ohter then that you need to belive in your self. you are a really good at this. good luck
Hello, my human friend.

About reminiscence, try to listen to "Follow me" or "Just one night and maybe goodbye" by Eiffel 65, maybe the match more with this :)
I like M83 style, i literally "eat" the double album "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming"

The description cames after a question i ask myself
"Could Answers be appreciated as like as Makin Me Blue was?"
Then i thought... "Keep your feet on the ground, man, who do you think you are, the David Guetta of the poor?"
After other reflections, I came to that description
