Beautiful work Savino, absolutely stunning. I am amazed that you could take those stems and make something this incredible out of them. It is nothing short of remarkable, absolutely remarkable. What a great way to start off my morning. I have downloaded this one so I have it to enjoy with my coffee on beautiful happy mornings like today.

The build on this is so nice, the mix so spot on. You are a master my friend and I am honored that you were able to get a small bit of inspiration from the stems. Thank you for such a wonderful end result. I hope all is well my friend. I am off to hit play again, and again, and again.

hey Bear
i hope all is well my friend. it was really my pleasure and certainly will love to do that again anytime. it has been a smooth experience to work with your stems at all times and time flew by sooo quickly....
that's always the good stuff when that happens. i mean when nights seem to only last a few minutes, that kind of time dilation.
sorry to you too about the ultra slow response.
first i had to go help serve in the civil protection (instead of military) for a while and then i caught a bone inflammation in my elbow from over-straining it by my own weight as i was sitting at the table. what.. weird stuff, i must have been quite distracted that i didn't realise it sooner. oh well, it's all back to normal one of these days and finally i may also use the computers and keyboards again, so i am excited!
already did a small number this weekend and will upload that in the next few minutes if all goes as planned.
so long man, have a great time and thanks again!

hi doudei;)

I love it because of the fun it brings me and it's so positive vibrations. Totally abstract sounding indeed but as I find myself gradually going into/inside that mix I can truly experience pure joy and aliveness. Nothing more is needed here. Excellent work my friend!

I greet you! Alex

dear alex! thanks for letting me know what this track felt like to you, it means a lot. i have very similar reactions to it as it seems, which i think is very very interesting. i played it to a handful of friends and happy or positive was not a common reaction. for me however this totally is and i am glad for you too :)
take care and catch you around pal

mystery meets curiosity? not much to say on this one other than it is abstract sounding. only sax is helping me to keep the tonal grasp. very cool and it is in very slow motion. I really like that.

Great piano work on this one!!! It has a jazz fusion feel to it....Jazz/fusion/hip hop. I like it.

Really tasty bass line driving this one along. I think this one would be a must have for any upcoming rapper. Hopefully some of the talented vocalists on the Loop will jump all over this one. Very nice ending too!

As always with your work, it is outstanding. Added to favorites. Well done Savino. I hope all is well.

hey Bear
thanks for explaining the "hearing is shot" phrase, at first i expected the worst and thought you had an accident or something that damaged your ears.
although i guess technically it's an accident, just one that creeps up on you over the years.
i noticed about two years ago that i hear slightly less on my right side, but it's very minimal still.
a reminder to watch out for prolonged exposure to excessive levels. i always work with headphones and i am especially prone to go overboard with the volume there. it's easy to forget as long as the hearing seems ok. and very comfortable cans don't help either hehe.
also thanks for your lovely comment. glad you like the piano. i have also prepared something this evening for you which i will upload shortly.
cheers my friend

hi:) this version is different but still very cool, I like it a lot. in a sense it's quite similar to 'while asleep...' maybe because of lovely twinkling e piano stuff in the background. simply much more complex from the previous version. I miss that short synth phrase a bit now, seems like it is hidden somwhere in the mix... Overall very great work here and simply positive and funky music. congrats. alex

many thanks alex!
yeah i think i know exactly which phrase you mean, had to make it a little less prominent.
i wanted indeed to try out something more upbeat and funky compared to the first one. in the end i liked this groove better together with the flow. cheers!

This is LOVELY. I find it is a very good background song for studying (which I am doing now :P) as it does not draw too much attention to itself - yet it has so much going on, when you stop to listen. Great work on this.

Groovy production. Chilled out vibes are really nice. Synths are aquatic like in the background. Nice airy feeling, no real critiques on this one. Magnificent vibe. peace

your tune instantly transports me to the higher realms. this flute has the american native meditation-music vibes. the slightly detuned synth lead from 3:13 is always reminding me of Tycho. I would compare your track to the spiritual 'Mantram' of Steve Roach.
I am suprised that your song is not so exposed on this site as it really deserves!
Love the chill vibes you've created on this one.

hey, I really like what you've just done - these strings and pads change slightly the harmonc structure of the song. It is more like a 'space music' now.
The mix is louder but still very very transparent. Adding more compression on rhodes was an excellent choice!
Beautiful song and great production. Love it.

As Alex said, your work on the keys is really nimble and smooth. Nice crisp clear mix...really nice. My only complaint was it needed to be another 3 minutes longer, haha. Great groove, executed flawlessly Doudei. I hope all is well and also hope the snows this winter keep you indoors in front of the keys making music :)

hey Bear
many thanks for your kind words and wishes!

it is indeed getting cold here.
had to bring in some fire wood 2 days ago - we're still waiting for a truck to deliver some heating oil.
also in this kind of situation i always have to take a warm hand bath before attempting to play anything :D
hope all is well there too my friend, take care!
