Very warm lyrics, every word well chosen, carrying emotions for the beloved.
I do not really know much about this genre of music but it was well structured, with beautiful vocals and with good sound and arrangement.
Best wishes, Anthony

That bass from 0,44 is nasty. Really interesting track.
Good job!

Gizmo1205, this is an incredible first effort. I played it twice I liked it so much. A lot of natural talent. Change of subject. All my life I have loved my dogs. I have 3 dogs now. Why is it always me who has to take them to the Vet to be put down when they get too old and sick? It takes me a long time to recover. My father died in 2022. Life is a process. Death is part of life. Not sure we ever get completely over those we lose. But I do believe in an afterlife and that we do reunite. When my time comes, I will get to see all my old dogs and family too. Something to look forward to but not rush. Take care, Cosmo

Hi Cosmo, thank you so much for your feedback and praise :). Means a lot to me, especially since we both seem to have lots in common.

Affectionate regards

Gizmo was a pet I take it. Leave your mind open. I studied Hinduism when I was young. As a result, several of my pets have contacted me from the other side after passing on. We only limit ourselves. Interesting track. Take care, Cosmo

Gizmo was my mother's little dog. She died of cancer 7,5 years ago. Since then, I took care of him (or rather vice versa) until last November.
After my father's passing two years ago I composed one of my first tracks (Bad Dream) and uploaded it here.
I already feel that their souls sometimes get in touch with me, especially by means of music. It already helped me a lot to express my emotions and progress.

Thanks for your reply. Deeply appreciate it. Glad you liked the track.

Couldn't edit the previous message, hence this extra one -

Sorry for the loss of Gizmo.

The slight 'awkwardness' that is apparent in the tune makes more sense when you listen to it knowing that the pain of loss has been the reason for its creation.

Honestly, some of the bass progressions and timbres in this are, as the kids say - sick! (are they even using that word nowadays? lol) Thick, raspy and dirty...

And is that one of the Window's error sounds that can be heard in the background? Nice touch :)

Like someone else said, though - the string section (a great counter to the heavy bass, btw) probably needs to be tightened up a little in terms of quantisation so it sits a little better rhythmically.

Tune is quite reminiscent of (but heavier in terms of the punch it packs) to some of the stuff Phonat has done, in that it offers up randomness, is ever changing, keeps the listener on their toes, so to speak, and uses syncopation well.

Thanks for sharing :)

You are welcome. Thank YOU for sharing and your detailed feedback, especially taking into consideration the motif and background story of the track. My main goal was to process and convey the ambivalent feelings (hope, joyful memories, despair, anger, pain, regret...) that come along with the loss of a beloved one.

I think I understand what youre going for here. As has already been said, some parts are too loud and or distorted, and I noticed 2 places that need to be brought in time better, but all in all, it paints a picture of someone who is honing their craft. Noone improves by not putting in the work. Many others before you gave up before they ever crossed the finish line, so u should be proud of what youve accomplished thus far. If u ever need help or tips on mixing, u can always send me or my brother Pnnywze an email and we'll help u out. Thanks for sharing your work here and for accepting and utilizing the advice youve been given

We are like rainbows,
a shimmer you can't hold. Beautiful lyrics and the overall idea of the track is really good. The female lead voice is beautiful but there is too much distortion and parts are over-loud. Great tune and beat.

Honest review: I do like the music track here, just needs a little trimming and an extra thin or two on that last transition. There are a couple of issues, one being the track is way too loud in parts. Its causing distortion/clipping and mucking up the track. The female vocal needs the most help, it needs more trimming and time to get the vocals flowing together with the music in time. All in all, not bad! Just needs some adjustments and a little work.
