Thank you so much for your valued input. I really appreciate u taking the time for my track. I hope all is well with u and take care. Stay tuned!!-EazyBeatz:)
Wow not been around for a week and this is the firs track I've listened to on here in that time and straight in the favorites.
A cracking moody piece.
I love the subtle understated sounds as in some of the main sounds are so much in the background instead of up front.
A great little piece that I will be playing in the car.
Yeah nice, fresh, young and uplifting track...strings are extremely good but on my humble opinion the drums are a bit falled behind the whole track's quality...snare tone, a bit of variety...just sayin...:-)
"Sometimes feel like as if I had a team things would turn out much better"
I totally agree and partly feel the same way. It's quite a challenge doing everything yourself: playing, recording, sequencing, audio editing, synth manipulating, mixing, mastering and so on. Someone live Spivkurl even builds his own physical instruments. Certainly not something I'm ever likely to do.
So, I'm forced to criticise what I do almost all the time. The main time I'm not is when I'm able to either just sit back and enjoy playing or listening back to compositions. But I can and will criticise at any random point as I try to notice anything that can be improved. And then I try to make that happen and often do.
I just try to bring a bit of that constant search for improvement to my Looperman reviews. Criticism can be a great thing and is kind of the definition of learning and working out why something does or doesn't work. A bit like a basic school essay exploring a subject or math problem in which you show your working.
"Just wish someone such as yourself were around as work on my compositions"
Thanks very much. I'm still looking (but not very hard) for that person or people. Hopefully one day...
Good luck with this track as I still feel it can be better though I don't know if you're planning on making any changes. I generally do to tracks I upload to the site. Not always based on others' views - sometimes I just notice problems when listening back to it outside the studio environment.
Not a chill out fan, but the track name brought me here. Great oddity in the story. Cain kills Abel, and is cast out of the Garden of Eden, and goes to the land of Nod and joins the peoples there. With four people in existence, Nod should be pretty vacant. The work-around for this that I've had fed to me was that they didn't count females at that time, so Adam and Eve had several daughters that they also cast out,... but Nod can't be all women. Did Cain or Abel impregnate then on their way out?
Anyway, I dig the sounds you have going on. It's a bit too sparse in the beginning, but I heard absolutely nothing objectionable. Calming and soothing.
Cool track nice bounce once it gets going, the keyboard takes
the place of a guitar but it works...
Could use a touch more top end on it, but it works...
On 1:11 it starts to get really cool. That chopped up vocal is awesome and I'm really feeling the reggae vibe. Everything has come together really well.
Long, slow notes before then are good though I feel the drum work could be better in the first minute. Hard to pinpoint how as you're doing a lot of stuff so I'm finding it hard to give specific suggestions on improvement.
0:28 to 1:11 is the problem section.
I'm actually thinking you might perhaps just start with those long, slow attack notes and then kick straight into the 1:11 section. That would be instantly appealing. Everything after 1:11 is also cool, with a fine flow, and you work your elements nicely. Very cool chillout vibe but with fat beats too - just the kind of thing I'm into and sometimes make myself.
2:52 reverse fill is good and creative.
I hope those thoughts are helpful and received for what they are - constructive criticism on good work.
Hi there StaticNomad , just would like you to know since your a long time member your input is deeply valued and greatly appreciated. I also concur with everything you have stated above. Just wish someone such as yourself were around as work on my compositions. Sometimes feel like as if I had a team things would turn out much better for EazyBeatz. Anyways thank you for your support, and I will try my best to remember all of you valid points for my future projects. Hope all is well with you and take care-EazyBeatz :)
Thank you D3RELICT for your continued support, also thank you once more for taking the time to listen and comment . I really appreciate the input. Hope all is well with your life. Stay blessed n stay tuned! -EazyBeatz :)
This is a great track here man! I love the relaxing chill vibe you made. The vocal sample you used as well as the other extra sounds you added, makes this song even more relaxing and just an all out incredible listen. I'm definitely downloading and faving this one. Think I'll add this to the Ipod as well. Thanks for sharing my friend!
I wouldn't know what to do if I never got the chance to read feedback from fellow looperman such as yourself. This def. made my day. Thank you for everything. Much Love - EazyBeatz :)
It's really hard to know but I seem to be enjoying the track more now. I can't tell if removing those sound FX has helped that at all or perhaps you also tidied up a few other things and made things run a bit more smoothly.
The track now seems cleaner and less cluttered than before. I indeed had no problem with the sound FX but sometimes cleaner, sparser is better. That's something I struggle with a lot as I like to use a lot of sounds and keep things very busy most of the time. But I'm also good at peeling back the layers to create different moods for different sections so that's how I tend to do it rather than removing an element entirely from a track.
So, I guess I'm saying you could add the sound FX here and there rather than ditch it/them entirely.
Anyway, I don't have a lot more to add as I think I said most of it before. It's really a cool little track.
A Track Produced by @EazyBeatz that induced emotions only a women has ever given me.the instrumental/beat just took my breath away and "spoke through me" i materialized it and this is what it sounds like NOW. HEAVILY COMPRESSED and i did my own mixing, its still not perfect..far from commercial tracks or what ever,but..this is my way of practicing, showing love for the producers and just HAVING FUN...right? Wow! - had to comment here - beautiful, clean, restrained composition. Loved the dog! - a punctuation that adds to the despondent tone in an ironic way. This is truly brilliant-really well produced and composed.

I am really enjoying your style of mixing and appreciate clear, transparent sound. It is sounding to me more like an ambient thing with all these strange noises. Cool and cleverly arranged piece of music. Fav'd and downloaded - thanks for that!
Best to you, Alex
This is good stuff. I think the money (cash register?) sample is cool and gives the whole thing an interesting feel. And some of the bits of delay on it help as well.
Lots of melody and good chill here. Also quite a bit of space, at times, to allow the instruments and sounds to breathe. And then you return with tight beats - EazyBeatz.
The dog sample is also good.
0:48 good pitch bent strings.
Good piano tone. Simple notes that are on the minor side of things but not depressing. Kind of sad beautiful.
It's not my favourite ever piece of music (not sure what is) but I don't really have any criticisms or suggestions, otherwise I would offer them. It's a good mix and I feel I can hear all the sounds quite clearly.
Thank you , sorry for the late response. Your well thought input means a lot to me. I see that you enjoyed that sound fx and I thank you for understanding it in the first place. Sorry to say but I took it off due to many preferring it that way. still pretty much sounds the same tho. Thanks again for listening . Hope all is well. :) -EazyBeatz
