I feel you. The main huddle I struggled with was the resonance in some parts of the vocals. I believe if I could have gotten the vocals right, everything else would be a walk in the park.

Oh, I had no idea there was a connection between Dutch and German! Its fascinating. I really need to get serious about learning Afrikaans here in South Africanot only to connect with people locally but to bridge cultures and communicate with others across the globe in their native languages.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll keep it in mind and aim to shorten it in future tracks. The effect is sidechained to activate when the vocals are quiet and cut out when they come in, but I may have set it a bit too high for some ears, making it easy to miss.

Oh...I didn't know you sang as well. You guys are a whole package I can tell. I agree with your brother that it requires getting out of your comfort zone to enhance your skills. Trying to sing in at least two octaves in all twelve keys can be good practice and trying out songs that progress upwards with a few riffs too. If you're into this typa thang this track can be helpful for sure along with some Ty Dolla Sign, Bryson Tiller, Jacquees...
