Wow,how cool is this!!....Awesome my friend.
I wasn't sure until the guitar came in then I had a big smile on my face.
I am a Dance/Trance "kinda"...almost, fan and also play guitar so this was such a good listen for me.

I love it!

To add to blackryan's review.

Instrumentation: There are too many sounds that share the same wave type... i.e triangle, square, saw etc (what ever it is you used) and it's a bit difficult to follow what's going on. In other words, they clash.

Try replacing the bass with a sine wave. And the mid's with something else...

Melody: There is *too* much going on. The basis behind most successful tracks is that it has a relatively simple melody and is easy for the listener to follow, with simple chord progressions.

If you have a complex bass line - the synth melody is simple.
If you have a complex melody - the bass is simple.
You are trying to get listener's to focus on one point of the track, and everything else should compliment it.

There are also a lot of very dissonant chords being played which really isn't a good thing in any track. 1 or 2 yeah maybe,... to add tension, but it seems to be a common feature for this track.

The beat: Not bad, but it sits too far back in the mix and it's being dominated by the synths. The beat should sit at the forefront of the mix, with everything else behind it.

Track build: Some nice ideas,... But it was hard to know what was coming next. Successful tracks rely on a certain amount of predictability. Listener's subconsciously analyse your track and reference it to EVERYTHING they have ever listened to and feel comfortable knowing what's coming next. Your job as a producer is to make subtle changes that the listener isn't even aware of.

Most tracks follow a certain "pattern" when it comes to structure and the following is an example:
A = Intro
B = Verse
C = Chorus
D = Bridge
E = Outro

A,B,C,B,C,D,C,C,E
A,C,B,C,B,D,C,E
A,B,D,C,B,D,C,B,D,C,C,E

Your track goes like this:

A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J etc.... There is no real "structure" to it.

The mix: I could write an essay on this subject and not cover everything, but I would suggest reading some articles about it :)

Overall though, I think you need more practice. Watch some tutorials on YouTube for FL studio (there are hundreds, if not, thousands of them), learn MORE about your craft, chord progressions, melody making, track structure, beat making etc

Practice makes perfect :)

Keep at it mate!

sorry i cannot think of anything good i can say about this.

Edit - sorry i was a bit vague I know. I think you need to improve on the composition of the track, the flow of the track, the choice of instrumentation.

And...can you at least say what you think could be improved? Not much point in reviewing if that's all you have to say.

This is interseting my friend. Very dark stuff. i love cross-over tracks very much. I love the sound on 1:51. Just banged my head to it lol! i must say your transition to the break is kinda wierd. Try to use some effect to fade it in. Maybe a wind fx or something. But when it crashes the beat in its great. I agree that there are some pieces in the track that are a bit off key. My advise is; dont always try to make it sound to complicate; sometimes less is more! But I really love how you made this one. As below; keep on listening to the track and just do what feels best. Cheers man! Keep them coming! -Erik-

The beat is Really great. You should add some vocals !!

Ah, thanks. If I knew what to add on I'd try my hand at it, but I've got no successful experience using vocals. I could see what you mean though. I'd love more of my stuff to have vocals, less emphasis on the music itself

Nice track, good from the start, liked it very much and got more productive from 1.50 in to the song. I absolutely loved the short sharp orchestral stab effects you put in there, very nice. I liked the bass on the whole but I did feel it could have been better in just a few small places around 2.16 it seemed off key a little. Around 3.45 sounded more in line.

Really good track though, I can tell you went for it on this one.

Just keep going over it and scrutinise every little piece, piece by piece, not much to put right here at all, I hope I don't offend you with my comments.

Thanks for the input!
No offense taken at all, I never expect my tracks to be perfect. When I got done with this, I was literally in awe over it. Usually I like to give a track 24 hours before I make my final judgement on it, whether to repair certain points or not. This one, I was afraid to ruin what I had. I may go back later tomorrow if I notice something in need of correction.

Holy #$*$!!!!!! This is fusion at its finest...metal and electronica...better than industrial. Outstanding use of multiple genres.

Straight to favorites with this bad boy. The mix is outstanding as well.

Wonderful. Bravo maestro.

Your great transitions and changeups keep this track interesting from start to finish. Its almost like an album compresssed into 6 mins.

Keep them coming

Thanks, dude :D Glad to know I'm actually doing stuff right for once.
I seem to like making a "compressed album", as you put it, when I'm making stuff. Otherwise it feels like I'm exhausting a sound and it becomes boring.

Thanks man! I appreciate the review. I've had a lot of crap made before I got on this site. So hopefully this is a good sign.
