I dig this riff, definitely Lead worthy. I've got an idea how to incorporate this with one of ShortBusMusic (Bear)'s riffs. I'll paste link to track once done.
Pretty good lead-in, I could think of a few ways something like this can be put to use. Maybe loop it by adding a reversed duplicate afterwards OR have it play, go silent for a couple steps, then pound out the next part of the track.
I'd have to agree with MINOR2GO, this would be great when it comes to maybe an end to a track or a falling in the middle of the song right before a new "chapter".
I wouldn't quite call it creepy, but then again I've been told I can be a tad creepy ;) lol

I've always loved a great Synth Track. Great, easy to work with rhythm. Sounds like something you'd hear right before a race, like when one man challenges another.
