Thanks for the kind words - really appreciate you taking the time to stop by and listen to my tracks. Derek Vickers has some great vocal power. I really enjoyed putting this together.
wow...i really dig this...reminds me of backyard parties back in the day one of the best tracks i can say ive heard in a while...straight up funky ass track i really like this
Thanks for the comments - really appreciate you taking the time to listen and review. Glad you liked the "retro" feel of the track. Flared trousers, open neck shirts, sounds good to me!
Work, very original and well done. I already composed with the voice of D.V, and I know from experience that it is not obvious. I salute your achievement here .....
Thank you so much! I absolutely love it. It's mixed really well. I love the strings, and that cowbell..... :D It's so weird for me to hear myself alongside a "real" guitar, and that guitar solo is fantastic.
Top shelf material here, wow. Great backing track Richie, really well played, and then when you put MIME4E's vocals in with your great instrumental, well, it moves into another level.
A great collaboration between two of the Loop's finest. I need a big fat "FAVORITE" button right about now, haha.
I agree with everyone, this has all those elements that take you back and Wow,those drums are tight and on the money.
Yes my music collection is full of disco,I love it!
Thanks for taking the time to listen and review - much appreciated. Drums are very much a passion of mine (I played for years back in the day) so spend a lot of time trying to get a live feel and make it sound like it's a human being playing them. Thank you for the great feedback.
Hope the track now sits well with your disco collection.
Just checking through my tracks reviews and noticed I haven't responded to your comments here. My apologies.
I always appreciate your take on my work and particularly comments on the individual bits that make it up. Lots of acoustic guitar on this track (Ovation Celebrity) and most of it the old fashioned way using a mic (old school!) Farisha is such a talent - we need more quality like this.
Thanks again for taking the time to listen and post a review. Appreciate it.
Ritchie, you nailed this one on the proverbial head. Great instrumentation....sounds like this one was recorded live in 1978 (and that's a good thing).
Awesome mix, and the vocals....well, they are perfect, as usual. Ms. MIM4E is such a huge talent, and together, you two are unstoppable.
This one is definitely ready for prime time. Well done to both of you. Thanks for a trip back in time.
Great to hear from you. The thing is I can remember playing live in 1978 (I was 28 and working in a club band in Chester, UK) and they were good times. I wanted an authentic disco dance feel to the track so pleased with your comments and glad you enjoyed the "retro" feel.
this seems more authentic than Foxy Cleopatra herself. Leads me to believe that you good sir were guilty of an unbuttoned shirt and bellbottoms back in 78'...or at least late nites @ the roller rink. In the musical realm of things, neat to hear something seemingly so forgotten, yet original. I bet MizM never knew what was gonna hit her, cheerz to that, ohright
I still have those bellbottoms and shirt! Unfortunately I can't get into them anymore (they must have shrunk!!!) It was actually a surprise to me the way this track turned out but hey, the 70s, who can forget?
Hello Richie!
What a wonderful song and production.
You captured a feel that serves the vocals so well.
This song is hard to review cause everything is just right on the money and it's all been said.
Fantastic...and I loved that ending!
Well done.

Thank you so much for your review. It's much appreciated. The vocals have to take centre stage - MusicIzMee4ever is a special talent and it's a pleasure collaborating with such calibre. I try my very best to make the singing shine. It's so pleasing to have such positive feedback.
Richie, downloaded them all. Loved them all. Everything about them smacks of PRO work. Keep putting songs together. Of course, it is the beautiful vocals that make the songs. Keep at it our kid.
Thanks Phil, appreciate your comments. Haven't things changed since our Little Giant amp (two inputs), a Rosetti Lucky 7 and that home made guitar we bought from that bloke around the corner? The vocals are stunning aren't they? So very pleased to have teamed up with such very talented people. More productions on the way.
ooookay, wait a minute, this GR 55 patch thingee...is that the part in the song i REALLY like? where theres no vocals? i absolutely love that, so unique and well thought of! had to say that! :-)
Thanks for sharing this song with us. You did a great job with this song overall....and Musicizmee4ever's vocals are spot on as usual.
She did a short country song with me on here called 'Walkin Shoes'. It was her first country song and it turned out just great.
You did a nice job with the all the background music. The guitar part fit in nicely I thought.
Thanks for taking the time to listen and review. Glad you liked the track. Had a listen to "Walkin' Shoes". Awesome! Love the slide guitar (Lowell George fan perhaps?) and the arrangement. Great stuff.
What a super track! I think you definately have a hit here. Hands down wins my vote for the best thing I've heard on the new LOOP! Great collaboration guys.
Thanks for taking the time to post such nice comments. Yeah MIM4E is a star and it's always rewarding when you work with such high calibre vocals (I've done a couple of collabs with her before). I wasn't sure if the "scat" patch on the GR55 was a bit over the top but it grew on me as the track came together so I left it in.
Oh man Richie, you flat nailed this one. The timing is what really makes this one special....that and your abundance of talent. Loved the sound of the GR 55 patch. This is just so smooth.
Almost sounds like a hit from the good old days, except it is current enough to be a hit today.
wow....yeah...top notch piece of music Richie...you are in good company with MIMFE doing tyhe vocals & from my view you really did an excellent job on the backing music and the mix...nice punchy bottom end going on & everything just perfectly in its place....good stuff man....a well done to both of you....ED

This track is radio ready, a great track to listen to while driving down the highways of the US.
Beautiful work Richie, and a tip of the hat to Farisha for the great vocal work.
