Oh my god Ella!!
So you can make all genres and you have also the great sounds that i dont have!!
When it start at 1:04 that sound is fantastic!!
Vocal fits also very well.
Nice work madam!!
Rita, I have been trying to do other genres for a bit of variety but it is not easy for me. And you don't have my sound, but you have your own sound that is perfect because it's your own personal style and sounds great. It is amazing what you have accomplished in one year doing production.
Thank you so much for listening and for your kind comment madam!
I like the stutter in the initial beat. Sound like some interesting swing values. Nice warm mix on all the instruments. I like the chops in the guitar part.
Excellent mix. Loud without harshness. Great bass line.
I see what you mean about the vox reverb. Baked in FX can be an obstacle at times. I wish there were more dry acapellas on here, even if it sacrifices "perfection."
Yeah, I find wet acapellas seem to work better for dance genres but for others it can be a bit of a challenge. Regardless, there are still a lot of gems that can be found around here from where I stand.
Thanks for the great feedback and fav bringer, always appreciated.
AtticElla, ok so you know you nailed this right? This is so chill I had to put my parka on! Everything from the vocals to the drums and the synth’s to that chill but fire bass line you simply Nailed this. Any DJ would be happy to have this in the lineup. Again another pleasurable track from and by you.

Buena mezcla. Que tengas una buena noche compañera musical. Paz y salud.
I have to say, this is the first time I'm ever listening to a "melodic techno track" and I really enjoyed it. It reminds me of something I would listen to in a long car ride home, just to help pass the time while also soothing the mind, ears, and soul. The atmospheric pads + the vocals + the beautiful melodies = an equation, not even Einstein himself would deny. Very nice work. Thanks for sharing!
That's a pretty good idea going back into the archives, you find all sorts of things you don't even remember working on till it all comes pouring back.
I really liked the synths/the vocals and what you did with them.
TheFemiFactor, yes, looking through it all brought back a lot of good memories and found a lot of stuff I've forgot about. Thank you for the listen and comment. =)
Really nice listen Ella good intro leading to the beat drop at .37 interesting thought provoking synths impacts and synth vox 2.27 was an nice chord change respeating at 5.04 I'm with you on losing stuff big crash most my own heart braking and gutting, I'm listening on SoundCloud too, girl your doing good, keep going lady at a pace that suits you
I think we do like it lol!!
So you have much suprises to go with your old stuff.
I told you that when i listen music at home its not this genre but
that doesnt mean that i dont know that this track sounds perfect.
AtticElla, again a nice listen. The intro put me in mind of Kraftwerk's Trans Europe Express. Also, you have a great knack for keeping the continuity throughout the mix. I'm interested to know what else are you hiding in the archive? :)

Well, a bit of advice. BACK UP YOUR HARD DRIVES! A few years ago, I lost about 10 years of material in one horrible moment. It was a good thing I had my finished tunes and sample library backed up. But I still lost a lot of unfinished, potential material and ideas. I cried.
Didn't take me long to clog up my hard drives once more, but as you know, it takes time. Thankfully I'm back to normal now.
Paz y salud.
Nice ethereal sound. I took me a sec to find the beat in the intro, but that's ok. Lots of good use of delay (ping pong mostly I assume). Very nice use of what almost sounds like vocoder at about 2:25 in the synth voice.
Guess you get another fav. So did you release anything elsewhere or is this stuff just sitting on a hard drive?
I used to have a soundcloud page full of stuff but I deleted it in a fit of frustration lol. I just started another one. Besides that I haven't really 'released' much. Tried a few tracks on Bandcamp and it's a no go, maybe not patient enough. So besides a couple family members, no one else listens to my stuff.
Might as well be that way. I'm to lazy to 'promote' and too inconsistent to cater to an audience. I don't know, feedback from unbiased ears is hard to find and I'm a bit insecure about my ability, lacking that.
So, in short, yes... this stuff is just sitting on a hard drive. Sorry for the rant, but you got me thinking lol
Thanks for the nice comment and the fav, really appreciated bringer. Always nice to hear from you. And I'm really enjoying your lofi. Let me know if you get your stuff out on YouTube. Would love to see it. =D
Really great tune, and I honestly love your vocal on this, however short it is. I think you'd make a wonderful singer if that's anything to go by. Essentially, a lot of songs are just lots of little phrases :)
'Lot's of little phrases'... You are right, they are, aren't they? Always surprising how something so obvious escapes us and we need another perspective.
All them Sade CDs has had an influence then Ella, your slightly deeper but it was so similar sounding to me. hopefully the comments will have eased your intimation.
I was so scared my first time, but the guys comments inspired me, I'm hoping it has the same impact on you. Don't let your own opinion overule you, remember it's the listeners opinion that should matter most.
I hate to post my link here on your page, but it's to show you not to be intimated. I was so scared, I switched the master volume down on the vox, hence why it's a little quiet, but the comments built me, to what I am now, an active member within our community supporting all and leading with encouragement for talent. Excuse my ignorance for the link, I hope it helps
No Paul, I don't mind at all. Thank you so much for the link. I listened to your song and it was great! You truly have that 'trap' mood going on there with your vox.
Yes, I understand what you are saying. That still doesn't make it easy. I'm a very, let's say paranoid person. Goes with other issues I rather not talk about. But putting my voice out there is like marking my spot on the map for everyone to see. Irrational, but it is what it is.
I was advised to put myself out there and that's what I'm trying to do. But, baby steps... lol I'm already talking and revealing more of myself online than I'm used to.
Your words of encouragement are so comforting. I truly appreciate it Paul. Thanks.
Again another sweet tune. I understand what you feel about the mix but that is easily corrected. Are U using Isotope Ozone at all? The vox from you works very nicely. You have an alto voice and it fits well in this tune. Lower the master gain and if u use Ozone 9 you can bring the DB back up with the compressor and limiter functions while maintaining the instrument space with a boatload of DB space. less is more. You have a nice musical aesthetic in your compositions. I really like your work musically and you know what you're doing composition-wise, itś really impressive.
Yep, use ozone. 'Never Said' is mixed at about 9 LUFS with a 1 LU loudness range and -1db true peak which is just fine. I was actually referring to the mixing part I wasn't sure about but I worked it out in the end.
My voice is actually not that alto. I have no clue why here it sounds so deep, I since froze and flattened the track so I don't remember if I changed the pitch a bit to match my key. Some other people are telling me that the effects are causing that. Honestly, I don't see how.
Enough rambling omg. Thank you so much for your kind comment crucethus. Really appreciate you take the time to listen. =D
Very nice kick in the mix. I like the alternating chord progression, and then the keys layered over alternating at twice the speed (sort of, variations of the motif anyway).
Nice use of vox. It takes true guts to sing anything.
I can hide behind a sax or guitar all day, and feel truly apathetic, even undeservedly pretentious, but unless it's Karaoke Johnny Cash on the vox I shake like everyone else.
Excellent mix. Consider "fixing mixes" or "collaborative efforts" if you want break that comfort zone (that's what I had to do anyway).
I have to stop myself from layering too much sometimes. I love the psycho-acoustic effects that pop up doing that some times.
Trust me, I shake, and I don't know if it's just my voice or it's nerves or a combo. I never sang outside the shower before.
That's an interesting idea that I've never explored. I don't know if I'd be a good collaborator though. I feel really possessive of my tunes, and I'm a bit unreliable. But will keep it in mind. I definitely need to put myself 'out there' for reasons I won't get into.
Thanks for stopping by bringer. Always nice to hear from you and your ideas.
In the closet lol?
Well it workt out great madam.
Your voice sounds cool.
You didd where im to afraid for...i diddnt do more then just aaaahhh. If i hear your voice i think your next track can have more words...just stay in that closet and practice lol.
The groove is fantastic, first of all. Your vocal sample is fine. Phones record well these days and to transfer the file onto a computer and into your daw is easy peasy. Keep messing around with it, you will figure it out. I like this kinda music when I oil or watercolor paint, just let it keep looping in the background for hours. Nice one!
I'm really happy you liked it Wayne. I might explore the possibility of singing in the future but right now I'm too intimidated and my voice is not very well trained. But the feedback I've gotten gives me hope.
You do oil and watercolor? My father was a painter, did both as well. The house always smelled of turpentine lol.
Hola amiga AtticElla, buena pista, veo que has intercalado tu voz.
Cuidate =)
