I meant, that this song is 3.42 singing, just singing...this is too much for me...give more place for example an acoustic guitar harmony or solo or a short brass section...you know, what I mean? More air :-) for those fabulous instruments...
You'll hate me me after this feedback...:-)this song is fabulous but I had 2 problems with it...why did you use autotune, cause I think the singer has brilliant voice without it, too?...than the music is too good to sing and sing again...there is no place for the instrus yet they are outstanding...no offense bro, I just advice this points, basically I love this number...peace, Danke
Thank you for the feedback seriously, Bro- ok? The auto tune came from the acapella track and it would have been better without it- and that's why I took it down months ago but I reposted it the other day hoping for a critique...then you gave one! cool-
The autotune still stands out I see...but what were you were saying about the instrument track (thanks for the fav!) you mean I should have another section part for the instrument track?
The music is cool and the heavy growl was bad ass, but ummmm... its only my opinion that the monotone vocals that come in after the growl... Im just sayin;.....less of that and more growl, and Id say u have become a "Lamb of god meets "Rage against the machine." And I mean that in the most polite possible way. Pretty damn good though man! -EA83
Those vocals are great, I can't see how people can do it but you can pull it off. Thought the hi hats were a bit loud in the mix. For a first metal post I think you did a great job, congrats!
Hi WindCity,
This is a good track.
I like how you "respected" the voice of Farisha, leaving enough room to her beautiful part (a bit too much autotune, as she also says in the acapella's notes, but very intense).
The work on the bass is good: few well chosen notes. Good (in a bass line, the notes you don't play are more important than the ones you play).
Liked the piano: have you used a loop or is it your work?
In any case: very smooth and warm. Well Done!
I could see this song with a different drumkit, but this is only my (very humble) opinion.
Overall, a good track!
Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thank you much Domenico- You enlightened me with what you said about bass lines; If I can keep what you said at the top of my consciousness when finding a bass part I really think the effort will be more efficient (.."the notes you don't play are more important than the ones you do play") ha! yeah, every drummer should know that!
The piano is from a Sony Creative Labs loopset
I tend to agree about the drumkit though...I will replace most of the drum loops I use by tweaking my Roland and playing them myself a little later.
This is tight! I would hear this in a boss fight in perhaps a movie or a game. I like how you used the Flanger DSP effect. That isn't a common effect I hear much. Great creativity, as well as the vocals.
Thanks Ookami..I apprieciate the comments. I hadn't thought about using the track for games- and now that I think about it that might be the sound of the Flanger effect that could make it fit for use with games- cool.
Thanks for listening! I realized that you answered a question that I had about this track but didn't know it; whether the vocals fit with the mood of the track! Cool- Thanks for the input!
Hey there Patricia! Ok, I hear your critique Yes! thank you I feel the same about the mix and I feel the music parts don't seem to have enough dynamics. It could be more interesting because your voice has presense and clarity and emotion. I am glad you heard it I wasnt sure if you had or not :)

P.S. the groove Jamie is playing is a groove I like; to me its like she is 'swinging' the 1/8 th notes as jazz will do in a funky way...
