Saw his paintings and yes I got the visual of looking at every crevice while slowly walking by cells and every boom was like a cell door shutting then wondering whats going to be at the end, waiting. Scary, but awesome! :)
LOL. Yea - that's what you get when you cross a guy with a conservatory background and trap genre. The pella tends to define where things go - in this case I heard a modulation major at the end - the sun comes out both musically and in the lyric. regards - Dan
This one took me by surprise. Got some nice emotional chill, otherworldly vibe. Takes me to a place mentally and emotionally that other stuff on here just can't.
I'm glad brother. i tried to stay focused on the spooky feel in this one. except the end - where the sun seems to come out a little. thanks for listening and commenting. Dan
Your beat is on point here though its kindda weak imho kick and snare need some punch to make it more dope but your hi-hat rolls are well place, anyways all is good here good job. Peace out
punch kick is really the holy grail, right? I added a transient shaper, thought a little bit more about EQ and compression. Most recent upload should reflect that. I appreciate this helpful comment a lot. Take care. Dan
The track sounds good! Salute for the new found creative focus. As a veteran of the site, you have given a lot to the community. Your technical critics have helped me personally to become a better artist. Good job sir and keep on creating!

hi there it sound really great and if take back in 17 where you was posting track with links to painting you came a really long just in two years but only thing you should look on is the tempo of the track if you dont have each sample you could try lower the tempo of the whole track. good luck.
could not ask for anything better in a comment than recognition of creative/technical progress and thank you for that. i did struggle with tempo- the vocal seemed slow out of the box and i felt compelled to rev up tempo of track. but 154 bpm does seem fast on the face of it. thank you very much.
Alright good stuff here.. I like your idea.. It's what I did in the beginning.. I limited myself to my single DAW and what was available stock in it.. I spent a full year with just the stock and a few sample packs to figure out what I was doing. It's why I'm able to put out studio quality music from FL Studio. You're definitely on the right path.. I think once you've got yourself nice and comfortable with where you're at you need to move in to effects and a bit more mixing.. You're losing a lot of emotion, color, and feel due to that midi robotic feeling and just the nature of EDM/dance music itself. A few light effects here and there and it'll shine.. Great job though and great discipline. Keep it up!
Wat u say is very helpful. Sound choices, effects and a more sophisticated mix are for sure where I am heading. I will definitely have a listen to ur tracks. Tx very much
it's great to be listening and commenting to tracks again, Bleep, after months away. i'm glad this one registers with the feet - really glad. that was the goal. Great to hear from you. thanks. Dan
When i red description i do expect some shitty and confused instrumentals, but now i'm totally surprised, fantastic vocals, kinda lo-fi dance music, not proprerly EDM but a wonderful mix of 80's feels and modern music... i like I Like I LIke I LIKe I LIKE IT SO MUCH!!!
Wow I'm glad my friend. Genres are not my strength to begin with but if it was working for u I did my job. What would be more characteristic of EDM I wonder. Thanks
I wasn't expecting the vocal track and when it came in I was pleasantly surprised! It really took the music track to a new level.
To be honest, I don't care much for the saw synth sound, he, but the vocal track along with the positive vibe of the track was a big pick me up! Solid mix as well, fun track!
Thanks. Danceable was definitely goal number one so I'm happy about ur comment. Feeling hungry to press on , see if I can carry forward lessons learned. See how much I can compress the process now. Tx again
Damn this is dope!!! I love this vibe man! gots to hit the fav on this one. Transitions are clean and the arrangement is solid all the way through giving it a seamless dance feel.
I'm really happy you liked it, brother. The production was all about developing the different percussion grooves and finding the right homes for them. My only regret is that I could not feature the bass more in the mix, as there were a number of cool sounds and grooves employed from the FL Studio transistor bass plugin. I would love to produce a cool dance video on this and am talking to somebody about it. We shall see. Thanks for your review. Regards, Dan
Cool track. I'm not a big fan of the auto tuned vocals but it does work here to add to the flavor of the latin track. Percussion is always a favorite of mine to hear in latin tracks, timbales, congas and the electronic glitchy sounds are great!
Reggae and all it's offshoot genres have always been an interesting listen, the twists of all the different genres adding to the basic reggae sound is an instant island/beach sound that resonates to most people who like music and tropical drinks, ha!
so great to hear from you Wayne. i inherited everything related to the vocal track. but yes - creating the latin flavor with the percussion was what I was all about in this one and the fact that you responded to that is gratifying. best regards and happy new year! Dan
Hola Dan,
Me gusto mucho tu musica!i didn't know the transistor bass instrument, seems to be really cool and full of possibilities!
About your track, for me, the general atmosphere that emerges from this piece is imprinted with Latin color. This kind of song, very festive, is ideal to close the year, the acapella is really cool and you find an original and great instrumentation to go with!
